More about bigfootford
Wife teaches school and I'm retired. I was in the Navy from 64-69 ASW aircraft electronics and in Mainframe computer electronics from the late 60's to 89. Self employed in electronics from 89-2002. Empty nesters since 94. 2 independent boys.
We sold out tract home in 98 and bought a fixer on an acre in the hills of Fair Oaks Ca. We have been adding and redoing ever since.
When the Wife goes on break we usually go somewhere camping. We enjoy Hiking and exploring. A hike of 10+ miles with the dog is not unusual. When going on vacation we usually have a destination but do not make any reservations. We prefer traveling on secondary roads (meandering). Camping/stopping for the night off a dirt road. We have had MH, Tent trailers, 2 slideins the BF being our 3rd and last.
Slideins are the best of all worlds if it is just two of you and your not handicapped. Having a great, loyal, well mannered dog and your health is the key.
We enjoy BBQ/Grilling, wine and each other....
