2014 Rockwood 8289WS ??

Hey Everyone, Currently I have a 2008 Jayco 27.5RKS and have been looking and seriously thinking of upgrading to this new Rockwood8289WS Diamond Package. I have googled a lil and have found bad reviews on Rockwood here & there....I really like this RV as it has many upgrades as more expensive models but I do not want problems.... I was quoted 42K as this seems a bit steep.......opinions on rv & price is helpful,Thank You for any opinions.... a fellow Rv'er.... Rockwood 8289WS

RE: SlideOut Question

I think it's getting power, you can hear it but not the clutches clicking. Could be a bad part on armature though, good point. Thanks, anyone else?

SlideOut Question

I have a 2008 Jayco 27.5 RKS, I beleive it has a Lippert slideout system. Once in a while ,lets say after 20 operations it will not extend. I take off access panel and go to gear reduction motor with a ratchet and move it out an inch or so and it stays good for another 20 or so operations. What can I do? From what I understand it had a passive side and an active side (with motor drive). Can I grease slideout tubes to help it ?Thank You for any help.

RE: Better Filtering Could Save You Big Bucks!

Has any one tried doing this? I know it's a paranoidal measure, but the horror stories are beginning to bother me, especially when I'm a thousand miles away from home. It is paranoid. 99.9999%+ of diesel dispensed are trouble free. If it is not so, why are we not seeing a lot of Class 8 trucks etc. on the roadside killed by bad fuel? But you might like this pump: http://www.diecastmodelswholesale.com/catalog/98762%5B1%5D.JPG LOL
