RE: Lube plate for Trailair 5th. wheel pin?
I have had two 5ers over the past 11 years. I have never used a lube plate. I spray with WD-40 each time I hitch up. Just sayin'.............

Can't comment on this campground, but I can comment on Jackson Hole. This place is paradise. The Tetons are absolutely beautiful and the surrounding scenery is breath-taking.

Just a few miles from Topsail (still on hwy 30A) is Grayton Beach SP. We have stayed there and will go back.

Alabama Crimson Tide wins another Nat'l Title
Today our mens golf team defeated Illinois for the National Championship. Last year the Tide won nat'l titles in womens golf, womens softball, womens gymnastics and mens football. That's what they do in Tuscaloosa.........win nat'l titles. ROLL TIDE ROLL!!

Oklahoma Concert for the victims.
We're watching the concert on NBC right now. Our hearts go out for the people who were in this storm. This concert to raise money is a great thing, and we have made a donation. However, as I set here watching this, my mind goes back to April 27, 2011. On that one single day, here in Alabama, we had 62 tornados, and 238 souls were lost here in our state. We never got the national attention or the "big name" concerts. What's the difference??

RE: Landing gear is toast
I have had my 5er for 10 years. My right landing gear has broken 2 times. Both times it was a broken shaft that leads from the motor to the gears. Both times I removed the entire assembly from the trailer, taken it to a local machine shop. They made me a new shaft (30 bucks). Then I would put the unit back on my 5er. Actually an easy fix...........

We have been camping since 1972. We raised 2 sons and then helped raise 3 grandkids while camping. We laid down one rule in 1972 that we have never broken. We will never camp on a holiday weekend. We never have and never will...

I was playing with a friend about 30yrs ago. He hit his tee shot into the top of a tree. It bounce out, on to the green and into the hole. It was a short (320yrd) par four.
