Wow That video was an eye opener!!! If that vid is to be believed.. it is. I find it difficult to believe security is that poor, or that how to actually steal is on Youtube.
Do they also have videos on how to build bombs?
I guess you didnt see the local LA news show-they did a video (broadcast on TV) of how easily it is to steal a Ranger, using the antenna.
We had our motorhome broke into-they tried to get stero eqiuipmet but were too stupid to figure it out (apperantly no how to's back then).
I too hope theres no real damage to OPs T&C

Just for grins I priced out at one of the towshop parts houses, tlcentral and tweetys- excluding install and taxes I got approximatley within 200 bucks for parts. As the breakdown includes installation thats 600-800 to install. IF you shopped, bought this piece here that piece there Im sure you could save more-
If you need to have installed-that would be added back. Taxes depends where you buy.
Bottom line though breakdown seems high-its in ball park. I and many others could, self installing-power shopping-circumventing taxes probably shave 1200. Buying everything you need, new, one place, one time, installed has a value. Not to me but it has a cost.
If the weight of camper resonable for truck the quote at least as far stuff you need seems youve identified. You said you bought camper-do you have possesion? Has this been on truck?

Paint wouldnt stay on the shafts anyway. Im painting my bolts yearly.
Curious the pics dont show the brackets locking-I assume just pic but only dogs I see arent engaged?

Umm im thinking youll be closer to 5000#? Thazalota camper. Youll have the potential to add 1350+lbs just in liquids, easily passing 5000 before gear-having a hard time wraping my head around those numbers...
I dont really dont know much about the Dodges-

Cant imagine with thr 102" width of camper your considering jack clearance would be a problem. I had lil more than an inch on right, now with jack stabalizers the bracket is less than 3/8", my camper width is 94". Still not an issue, As you say-at the very left rear is an access box for plumbing that protrudes-getting the right side jack to clear and not hitting the protrusion at rear is. On new camper I cant see with added jack clearance you couldnt back under wherever you needed to clear any box protrusions.
However I would respond to the "I have a very good current TC & Truck, with excellent offroad capabilities"..

Not that new truck & tc wont work-81 gal of water amazing, and a couch..but getting the widest camper made, extending the camper out the back, out the sides, up and increasing weight by 1500+pounds, not counting the new truck. Seems a bit in the wrong direction, at least what off-road conjours up in my mind?

If you add a valve get one with the hubs included-what you linked is only replacement valve. (valve slips between & is bolted between hubs)

From the Valterra site- hubs available seperatly...
Unsure of termination as usually grey dumps into 3" black plumb and 3" bayonet fitting for cap/hose. Maybe end with 1 1/2 MA and use thread on 3/4 hose adapter.

if its 1 1/2 valve T1008-1 would bolt to valve outlet (instead on glue on hub) adapt to 1 1/2 thread then use cap with hose adapter http://www.valterra.com/RV/plumbing_fittings_and_accessorie.htm
Would allow use of larger dump hose if wanted. Compartment also needs to be large enough to REMOVE the valve for future replacment.

Going back aways but on our camper couldnt open the wardrobe door if so much as a t-shirt was laid on it (or 'someone' didnt make the bed).
Took the door off, reinstalled 2" higher-added a 1x2 to lower door opening.

Interesting thread...My camper is still wider than trucks fenders...
Driving ive noted no downsides only the gains, parking usaully not an issue, it'll fit but like others Im waaay out by the fence. Ive actually found it easier to center camper when loading-though certainly have to watch when backing under.

What you describe, just backing under enough to support, will work. Alot safer than single jack. Though suppose you could do one side at a time using a block to spread load on bottom. Id opt for backing under (throw your keys on the roof)...

Well nwjetboat as an actual owner verified but curious why p/o labled I looked at the manual which seems pretty clear, its simply a disconnect turning off campers access to battery(s). Why the p/o labeled as described is curious, in the off position, which I think you verified should be no 12v in camper. In the on position allows camper to use battery (and in your case truck battery). You need to add solinoid or other wise isolate truck starting batt. And use some alchol to remove label.

key until you can remove key. You may remove the key for security purposes, but it is not necessary to remove key to kill 12-volt power. Note that when the key is turned off or removed 12-volt power
will not be drained from the batteries–you need to turn the key on to operate with 12-volt power from the battery source.
The 12-volt kill switch should be used to avoid 12-volt drain if the unit is stored even for a short time period."

Lay a towel or whatevers handy in front of the shop, stand the tailgate on end leaning against the shop. The way my tail gate is attached Ive never considered the tailgate adding any sort of support to bed walls- compared to an older single wall bed.
