Who drives a F-350 as their sole vehicle and likes it?

I'm thinking about changing from a motorhome & tow car combo to a fifth wheel & truck. (F350) I only want to maintain a single vehicle but am concerned about whether or not I will like having a big truck as my only mode of transportation. I drive 8 miles to work each day (one way) and put about 18K on my vehicle per year. Will driving a big truck all the time be a pain in the butt or too costly due to the current cost of diesel fuel? Thanks for sharing your opinion.

RE: Ford Trucks / Lowest Price Paid

Found this on the net: Ford Motor Company X-Plan You can obtain discounts on Ford vehicles through Ford’s Partnership Recognition Program. You can contact 1-877-975-2600 or obtain information via the internet at www.fordpartner.com. Please note that the IHB’s vendor code is: XB350. The Plan is based on the use of Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) in conjunction with the last 4 positions of your social security number to obtain a discount on eligible new Ford Motor Company vehicles. You will be required to show proof of employment or membership at the time you take delivery of your vehicle. You obtain your discount by doing the following: Step 1: Generate your PIN by calling 1-877-975-2600 or by accessing www.fordpartner.com. Step 2: Visit your local Ford dealer with the PIN and immediately identify yourself as a Partner Recognition participant. Provide your PIN and the last 4 positions of your Social Security number to verify your eligibility. Step 3: Provide proof of employment through a recent pay stub, company ID or W-2. Please note that business cards will not be accepted as proof of employment. Step 4: Select your new vehicle. Step 5: Request vehicle invoice from sales representative to confirm plan price. Step 6: Discuss financing options. Step 7: Drive home in your new Ford!

RE: Ford Trucks / Lowest Price Paid

I've asked several people I've seen driving them and the lowest price i've been quoted is 18% off MSRP. Does that seem about right?

Ford Trucks / Lowest Price Paid

I'm in the market for a new F350 King cab and was wondering how much of a discount others have gotten on their new Ford trucks. (All models) What percentage discount did you get off the sticker or MSRP price, where did you get it and would you buy from that same dealer again? Thanks.

RE: Cloudland Canyon State Park

Just curious how you're getting internet service there. Are you getting 3G or 4G service?
