Just thought it should be pointed out that there are some redundant items added up on that Juno options list total.
The choices for generator, rack/ladder and batteries are either/or choices, so to be fair about #400 in weight and $4000 in cost would need to be deducted.
RE: San Diego to Cabo San Lucas
I have to agree with B Bob-Baja is currently off limits in my book.
In the past, most trouble could be avoided by skipping the population centers near the border. Now there have been attacks in broad daylight on the highway far south of the border towns. It is a shame as Baja is one of my favorite places, but for now I would suggest you choose an alternate destination.
