RE: Reduction of Senior camping discounts from 50% to 10%

I never could understand the concept of senior discounts.
Seniors have been here longer so they should have accumulated more.
Young people are the ones needing discounts.
I imagine you'll all agree with me. :)

RE: Frozen heat pump in Fla!!

Run it on A/C. That's all the defrost cycle is anyway.
(Some units will kick in the heat strips during the defrost, but it isn't a problem.)This is correct information.

RE: New Thermostat Help

Because the thermostat probably operates within a voltage RANGE. Usually from millivolts up to 24 VAC. Specifications are supplied with the unit.

RE: Fairly worthless double PAIN windows

There's more to it than just simple spacing of the glass. I'd suggest you Google the term "double pane windows r value" for more on the subject.

RE: Beaver coaches

I would take it over the Beaver Marquis. JMONah ........It doesn't even list Aqua Hot. Cabinets don't come anywhere near those found in a Marquis.

RE: Aircard antenna

Although I have a Wilson truckers antenna with the amplifier I wouldn't think you'd need it if you work in city areas with decent coverage. Its probably one of those YMMV things.
We have the same router and aircard as you and I will say I get better speed at home via cable than in the motorhome via aircard.

RE: Fueling of DP

Other than that I pretty much top off but do try not to get any spillage as my wife makes me change clothing if I get diesel on me and tracking fuel or oil of any kind on her carpet is a capital offense.I wear those plastic white or blue booties over my shoes. Granted they look absolutely ridiculously fruity and the truckers blow kisses - but what the hell do I care. At least the DW isn't grousing about diesel smell on the carpet. :R

RE: SOLVED XP intermittent boot problem

My solution would be to save anything important on an external disc that is important and reload the entire system. You will have to spend some time doing this. Why would you reload the entire system? Simply do what Pulsar suggests with the adapter.

RE: Buying a MH on Ebay?

First off,I did not buy a unit advertised on Ebay. I did however do my research on Ebay, and visited two dealers that were advertising there. My conclusion was most dealers are using Ebay as cheap advertising. All units have a high reserve price, unless they are desperate to move a clunker. After looking on one dealers lot,and trying to make a deal,I went to another dealer near by that was Not on EBAY. The dealer that I bought from was much more interested in making a sale.I feel this is bad subjective information. We have purchased two RV's on Ebay and sold one that way with great results. The key is to buy from a reputable Ebay seller like THIS ONE
Good luck
