Creato - can you share any information on Gate Guard (Security) Job in ND?
Sorry no I can't I am about 160 miles from the oil country haven't even heard the term and have a few friends working out there. When they get back I will ask about it
As far as a bigger pump I plan to replace my pump with a sure flow 4048 series that is a 5 g.pm. Pump with 55 psi it also boasted smooth flow and no rapid cycling or ratcheting as I call it.
You may want to put a restrictor type aerator on your shower head if you don't have a large fresh water tank.
If the pump is bad, What the best replacement pump for my RV?
This one is a 2.8 GPM pump. Can I buy a higher volume pump ( maybe a 3.5 GPM pump) and replace this one without having to change anything else out?
Yes you can put a higher g.p.m pump in it but I think you have a air leak and a new pump won't solve that. Also there is a pressure valve screw on that pump but I can't remember if you turn it clockwise or counter it could be stuck. I would play with that a bit it helps if you have some one to turn faucet on and off while doing it if in a hard to reach place. Another thing you can slip a hose on the suction side and fill a 5 gallon pail see what happens. Had a friend that had a bad cracked pickup tube in the fresh water tank done the same thing.
Also if there is a filter assemble where as the cup screws on and an O ring in the housing it could be shot allowing it to suck air. Had it been working properly or has it been sitting and you are trying to use it now.
Need some info on a 1977 pickup camper equipped with bathroom do not know the brand or model. There is a ad here where the guy wants to give it away the pics. Of it look good less back window broken. It has two jacks one on each side the old style that are not attached. My problem is the guy don't think it will lift high enough to put in my F250 and the pickup is a short box with no tie downs. I do have a 4x8 utility single axle trailer but don't know the weight of the camper. It is a ways away and I want to be prepared when I pick it up. Thank you
