RE: RV Decor Redo

http://i.imgur.com/4JCSleCl.jpg Kitchen after I especially like the tiles in your kitchen update....good job! Did you have to take off the wallpaper or did you just tile over the top? Did you know how to tile before you did this or did you take a class? I'd like to redo my kitchen but I'd hate to really screw it up. That's why I'm asking "how to" questions. Can't wait for more pictures. You're done a great job. Thanks for sharing. Cat Lady

RE: West Yelowstone camping

I stayed at Valley View RV Park about 13 miles outside the gates of W. Yellowstone for about three months. This is a Passport America park. I paid either $300 or $350 a month (30amp f/h/u) plus $20/mo wifi, can't remember which rate. I think 50 amp is slightly higher but not by much. Roomy sites, no trees, a very large laundry/office. Gas station is next to the campground. Not a lot to do there but I only used it for R&R so wasn't a problem for me. I liked the park and will stay there again when I'm in the area. I stayed during the summer and left the first part of September. Traffic into WY was not a problem but I usually got there early. Cat Lady

RE: Cauliflower Salad

Sounds delicious. Hubby is diabetic so will make this instead of potato salad, which I love but don't need the extra calories. Thanks for sharing. Cat Lady

To my knowledge, SKPs is still offering half-price membership discount so now's the time to join. You can also go to their website for the members forum. Hope your new job turns out to be exactly what you're looking for...Good luck. Cat Lady

RE: Roadtrip Journals

iPhone shows Rove - Journal/Diary (free); Tagit (free); USA Travel Log - States Visited ($2.99); Tripjots - A Personal Travel Journal (free). You might want to read the Details and Reviews first to see if this is what you're looking for and which would best suit your needs. Hope this helps. Cat Lady

RE: How Do You Handle Litter Odor?

I've got 4 cats I take with me. My daughter and son-in-law previously owned my MH. He cut an opening on the bed frame close to the head of the bed large enough for the kitties to enter and go to the litter box under the bed. They also plugged in a soft night light so the kitties could see easier. I use the Special Kitty Scoopable with baking soda and clean it first thing in the morning and the last thing at night before bedtime. It's unlikely, but if I detect any odors, I will sprinkle in more baking soda (from Dollar Tree...cheap). I add more Special Kitty as needed until the end of the month when I'll dump everything, wash the box with warm water and Dawn, dry, and start all over. There's no way I'd get rid of or leave behind my little traveling companions...I love them too much. Cat Lady

RE: Just wanted to say goodbye

I'm going to be sorry to see you go, Bill, along with the rest of the folks here. I had checked off "Notify Me of New Post" so anytime you'd post I'd see it. Your advice to another questioner regarding his Winegard helped me solve a recent problem with mine. You always had good advice and I'm sure we all appreciated your help. You will be missed. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours. Take care and don't be a stranger. Cat Lady

RE: Winnebago Slide Outs?

I had two problems: Bobbo nailed it...didn't have the Auto Park Brake knob pulled out and my batteries were finally poopin' out. Got new batteries, engaged the APB, and she works perfectly. Cat Lady

According to the designer/inventer of this sleeping bag for your best friend can withstand sharp nails. Thought some of you might want to check it out in case you want to get Phideaux a nice Christmas present. Cat Lady
