RE: Dog Crap

"If we don't start policing ourselves, I'm afraid more parks will ban pets. Has anyone else said anything to these kind of people?".....sounds good but keep in mind you can't fix stupid. Cat Lady

RE: From the Land of the Misfit Dogs...

"He got his first Kong today, smeared inside with peanut butter and frozen, to enjoy while he was crated this afternoon when Joe and I went out. Talk about a hit! When we got home, I removed the Kong to wash/refill/refreeze it..." Beth, what is a Kong, please? I've got cats so I have no clue. Thanks. Cat Lady

RE: Humidity

Hi Cat Lady, I've done it on cold clammy days. It turns the air conditioner into a giant dehumidifier. If it is already unbearably hot then the air conditioner will already be removing as much moisture as is possible. Suit yourself. Cat Lady

RE: Humidity

Hi, Run a small heater in conjunction with running the roof air. That will help dry out your RV. I don't think I'd be running a heater. You try that in the Deep South and you're gonna die for sure...heat stroke and worse. Keep the doors/windows/roof vents closed, shades drawn and the a/c running in both the front and back. Use that silver stuff (can't think of the name) that blocks the heat from your windows. The idea is to keep the humidity out and the way to do that is do not open the windows. Cat Lady

Suggestion: Click here for BarbaraOK's, then on Full-Time RVing and read #9 Memberships. Barbara knows a lot about rv memberships. Very helpful. Cat Lady

RE: A little membership help please

At 62, you and your hubby can each get the Senior Pass (Golden Age Pass). You can then camp half price and get free admittance to National Parks, etc. You can find out all the particulars on their website. If you're a member of ELKS or Moose, you can stay at their facilities. I believe I paid $12 or $15/night at the Elks Lodge in Westminster, CO. They also served meals that were very reasonable and good tasting. I bought a used Platinum TT membership and can camp 21 days park-to-park, no time out. That's the way to go, in my opinion. I also have Resorts of Distinction (ROD) and RPI. I am also a member of Escapees (SKPs). You might want to go on their website and check out the Memberships for sale. Some folks give away their TT membership for the price of the transfer fee. You should check out the details of that membership before getting it. Cat Lady

RE: 97 American eagle won

You might want to follow this blogger Greg and Jan at Our RV Adventures. He also has an American Eagle and knows a lot about them. If all else fails, send him a Comment and ask him what could be wrong with yours. He's a good guy and would probably give pointers on what the problem could be. Good luck. I'm happy for y'all. Hope you have many, many years enjoying your Eagle. Cat Lady

RE: Please help! How can I blend this to all look new?

Kind of like the aging female that has all of the needed cosmetics done but can't do anything about the aging inside. Or the old guy with the young chick and the Viagra. Cat Lady

RE: Nervous about pulling my TT

Slow down. You don't have to go 70 just because that's the speed limit. If you have to slam on the brakes for any reason, it could get ugly. Cat Lady
