RE: Total Load Control Air Suspension - Anyone use??
Is this what you are talking about?
Total Load Control
They appear to be very similar to other air bags commonly used by RVers.
Some like 'em some don't, and I have mixed feelings so far about how well they work for me.

RE: Forgive my opinion... not revealing free camp spots
I have shared my spots with freinds and family, not usually online. Here's a sample of what they usually tell me after they go check on the spots I recommend to them:
1. They don't have full hookups, how am I going to run my A/C, satellite dish, microwave, lights and dump my tanks? I also use too much water for showers so I have to have water hooked up.
2. There isn't any spaces long enough for our needs.
3. The road there is too narrow, steep, rocky, dusty, etc.
4. Town is too far away for shopping and eating out.
5. That place just looks plain spooky to me.
Looks like my spots are pretty safe to me.

RE: Bad air bag?
You are correct Joe, Airlift only offered to sell me the bags at what they called a discount but I ended up finding them cheaper online.

RE: Bad air bag?
Checking on warranty today. To clarify what the pressure is, both bags will take full pressure but the one that looks broke lifts way faster. Both pictures were taken while at 10psi each per the gauges.

RE: Bad air bag?
Ooops, forgot to say it is an Air Lift system with on board compressor. Replacement bags look spendy so I might have to wait awhile on those. It is all set up so I would hate to try and rip out everything and go back to stock.
BTW, the 8.1 has been very reliable so far with adequate power. I have only had to replace one O2 sensor and just changed the trans fluid and internal/external filters at 96k. But so far I have only put about 5k on the truck (bought used). The Allison trans is just an all around better unit than the other autos in Chevys.

Bad air bag?
I have never had luck getting my air bags to inflate properly side to side. These bags look as old as the truck or maybe older. Both bags are at 10psi. I don't seem to lose any pressure in the bags but the side with the bag in question lifts the suspension alot faster than the normal looking side.
Notice this bag looks fairly normal with a distinct hourglass figure.

Now look at this one which has almost lost the hourglass figure.

It's hard to see but both bags have alot of cracks in the center area and it looks as if one side "gave out" in the middle.
Anyone seen anything like this before? Are these bags just at the end of their expected lifespan?
Thanks, C
