RE: Wireless headphone for listening to internet radio from PC?

OP wants wireless headphones for his PC in his den. Most PC's don't do BT so for the BT models above he would need to add a transmitter. Only the Sennheiser model above is plug 'n play.Bluetooth adapters are available everywhere. (Like here) .. Simply plug it into the USB Port and any bluetooth device will connect to the PC. Most laptops come with bluetooth as part of the system, so no adapter is required, but if it's a desktop it's as simple as plugging one in. There's no reason to limit your choices, when it's as simple as adding one. Woodglue's link above also shows those headphones can be ordered with an addition of the bluetooth adapter.

Bluetooth headphone would work for what you want to do, but your choice would depend a lot on the style of headphone you like best. Click Here for examples of different types ...

Ummmmm, ... are you B***hing? :) Just kidding, but honestly I've learned to blow past all the crazy stuff. This forum would get a little boring without some of the things that come from left field.

RE: Where to buy Torklift Propane lock?

Torklift sells direct if you can't find it locally. Look Here I'm not so sure they do sell directly. The link that says "buy it now" on their website goes to a list of states and then to a list of dealers in the state. I saw no place on the website to purchase directly from them. BarneyI should have clicked on the "buy it now" (but didn't). I live just a few miles from the main Torklift facility in Kent, WA & have used them many times for work on my rigs. They sell retail at their facility so no reason to believe they didn't sell online too. I would think any online dealer of their Torklift products would be able to provide the parts.

RE: 2013 Ford Focus brake light signal to Even Brake

I found my manual in PDF format and page 2 has some information that could be helpful. I can send you the manual I have if you need it, ... send me an off-line (PM) and we'll hook up.

RE: 2013 Ford Focus brake light signal to Even Brake

Corkey, I understand that. But, the brake light switch must have power in order to send the signal to the Even Brake when the pedal is pressed. Without the ignition in the "ON" position, there is no power to the Focus's brake switch. I have an entirely seperate Stop/Turn/Tail light circuit for normal running.Gotcha, ... I have my instructions offsite and can't get to them until tomorrow. There must be something in there addressing the switch, but I won't attempt a guess. When I get my hands on the installation manual I'll look and see what mine says.

RE: 2013 Ford Focus brake light signal to Even Brake

FWIW, .. you might want to read the Evenbrake instructions. When using the Evenbrake the brake lights are NOT triggered by the toad brake switch, but by the brake switch of the MH. The Evenbrake is proportional, and won't always activate under light braking, so the taillight need to be activated by the MH under those circumstances. The taillights and brake/turn signal lights are all controlled by the MH and connected through the trailer plug next to the MH hitch. The Evenbrake has a remote transmitter that sends a signal to the MH dash unit telling it when the Evenbrake is active. The remote is triggered by the toad brake light switch in order to tell you when the brakes are active, but not the lights. Roadmaster has very thorough wiring instructions outlining this installation including the use of diodes to prevent feedback of signals. Properly wired you'll like how it works ...

RE: leveling our 2006 Dynasty

You should put in a call to Monaco tech support to see if they can provide a link to the Owners Manual of your rig. (574.862.7263) On there web site it only goes back to 2008, but here's the link to that manual. See page 247. 2008 Owners Manual As far as I know the leveling procedure is unchanged from 2006 to 2008. As a side note, yes it's normal to feel the coach move when someone is active inside, but you soon grow used to it and don't notice it at all. BTW, nice rig, ... enjoy! :)

RE: Inside water pressure on HR/Monaco

I had the same thing happen with my 08 Endeavor, even after the filter change. It turned out the good deal I got on filters wasn't so good after all. My new filter was a 1 micron and slowed water flow to the whole coach. I replaced it with a 5 micron and things when back to normal.

RE: RV electrical problems

This is a long shot, but it happens. You may have tripped the GFCI circuit. If your converter runs from the circuit that's dead your batteries would discharge fairly fast. Everything you mentioned has control boards that run on 12v, .. if the batteries are dead and the converter isn't working, everything you mentioned would be dead except for the microwave that may share the 120v circuit with the converter.

RE: Date codes on Trojan batteries

The first battery is Oct 2012, the second Feb 2013. Since the batteries are close in manufacture date and you began placing loads on them at the same time I wouldn't be concerned. With good care and management you should easily get 5 years or more service from them.

RE: Top 5 Motorhome Manufacturers

Sorry, but these open-ended questions almost exclusively turn into popularity questions with most reinforcing THEIR buying decisions. Best answer is to narrow down the question. For that $180,000 you could buy the highest end Class C, a new entry level Class A or a very high end older Class A diesel. Kind of apples and oranges. +1Well said ....

RE: What does it take to go Inverter From Converter

What is involved to change from a Converter to an Inverter Wiring Wise Maybe we need to read before we respond I believe the question should be: "What is involved to change from a Converter to an Inverter/Converter Wiring Wise." Not all inverters include converters. It's easy to add an inverter and leave the existing converter in place. The question leaves a gray area about just what your asking, including the demands of the inverter itself. The wiring will be different if the change includes a converter as part of the inverter vs leaving the existing converter in place. So It sounds like there is more than one option. Change from a Converter to an Inverter that still runs 12v stuff and charges the batteries.( my original Idea) Or Add an Inverter for the 120v stuff. Do any Coaches Have Both? Ted.YES, ... there are both. I've had two coaches with stand alone inverters. One with a 2000 watt full sign wave, both hardwired. Both coaches had seperate converters. This method has been around for decades, ... nothing new about it. Granted, 30 years ago it was rare, but still used on many coaches purchased for off-grid use. Any inverter plugged into a cigarette lighter socket will be extremely limited by wire size and length. Not a viable option for a whole house supply.

RE: E-series fuel pump teardown (with pics!)

Nice write up and photo's, .. gone are the old diaphram fuel pumps of days gone by. Although for a gas fuel pump I watched this video on TV a while back and was amazed at how sophisticated pumping fuel has become.
