RE: Replacement Shock Suggestions

I replaced the shocks on my 07 F250 last year with Bilstein. Highly recomend them, what a difference towing and empty.

RE: Snow, snow, snow.......

Hi neighbor, we were in Texas last year and had a damp/wet December and February, this year we decided to go to Florida for a change. I stupidly let the wife decide that we should stay home for Christmas.
Next year we leave in November and go to Arizona.

RE: Snow, snow, snow.......

We were scheduled to leave for Florida today, I've already cleared the driveway once and it hasn't stopped snowing so I'll have to clear it again tonight. I can't seem to find 2 nice days in a row to make it down I-81 to Winchester and then across to I-95
We had a day of rain before the first storm and I have about 3" of ice on the roof of the trailer and then a good 10 inches of loose snow on top of the ice. My storage compartment locks are all frozen and my bedroom slide is frozen.
The wife and kids have been warned that this is the last year that we leave after Christmas, from now on it will be a November departure.

RE: RV parks FL/AL/MS/LA coast

We stayed at a few State Parks in Louisianna last year, they are the nicest state parks that we have stayed in, large sites, new services, free wifi and free laundry, all for $18.00/night

Bayou Signette State park.
http://www.crt.state.la.us/parks/ibyusegne.aspx
15 minutes from free ferry to New Orleans, park truck for $5.00 and ferry lands on Canal street in French Quarter
The park is huge, big well maintained sites, close to everything you need. Check it out

RE: Generator in Class A for Overnight Stay in Flying J

We have stayed in Flying J's in Napanee On, Lansing Michigan and in Indianapolis in early January. You have no choice but to run the generator all night in order to keep either the furnace going or an electric blanket or even both. It's been as cold as -20C some nights. So run your generator if you need it to be comfortable, a truck stop is not a campground.

RE: RV Storage along 1-95 in South or North Carolina

We stay at Bass Lake RV Campground in Dillon,SC every year heading to and from FL. They also have storage there. Very nice owners and it is right off I-95
That's what I was looking for, I will be on a tight time frame going to Florida and want something as close to 1-95 as possible.

RV Storage along 1-95 in South or North Carolina

We will be in Myrtle beach with our 5th wheel from October 19 to Nov 4th. Rather than bringing the fiver back to Canada I would like to store it near 1-95 in either South or North Carolina and pick it up between Xmas and New Year's on our way to Florida.
Can someone recommend a secure and safe a RV storage lot.
