yea but I keep looking at the toad, whilst I travel,,it is getting 1000+ mpg while being towed, so the mpg on the rv and toad equals out...keep on a rolling,,,,

I wouldn't miss mail delivery anytime...as far as I am concerned they can shut down the Post Office...I try not to use any of their services?

U.S. Air Force 1957-1965---basic at Lackland AFB, Tx, Randolph Field, Tx, in 1958...Azores Islands, in 1958-59, Amarillo AFB, Tx 1959-1961, then to the AFES Station in Kansas City, Mo for the remainder of my tour...I learned stuff that prepared me for the job in civilians life that lasted for 36 yrs...enjoyed it all,

i don't care for the new format...the stuff on the right side of the screen kinda screws up the screen...if I want tips, I will go other places...guess getting use to it will be difficult...wonder why it was changed? leave well enough alone is the key here.....but they own it and can do what they want.

the old mpg discussion...I just filled up the 33 ft Winnebago, with the 8.1 ....gosh a whopping 4 mpg,fought a head wind--what is going wrong...I have new plugs, wires, use Mobil 1 etc, most the time I get 6-7...so i would erred on the save side..7-8 mpg

UP HERE .. split and delivered hardwood is 50$ per cord !!
well when you have no trees, the wood has to be imported....oak wood runs about 250-300 a cord, mesquite about 150-200 and junk wood..oh well, elm, cotton wood, etc about 150 ...gosh I miss the trees.

the book calls for a PF 454..some use the Pf1218 which gives a larger capacity of oil...I go with the book...autozone, sells them..at a good price

There's nothing worse than trying to walk into a health care center when one or more "senior busses" are idling by the front door. My lungs really complain.
or the diesel next to you in the campground sits and idles for 30 minuts while they unhook..and to be down wind next door..it is a choking affair....

i had the front aligned prior to putting on the new tires...the tow bar is level I haven't had the struts checked just figured that 60k miles they shouldn't be worn out..guess I will put new struts on and try that.

thump, thump as I go down the road in the toad..it is an 05 Malibu and I am having problems with the front tires cupping...the orginal tires did it and these new ones with 10k miles on them is doing it...what is wrong..does anyone else have this problem..they are Goodyear brand...should I try another brand...they will need replacing again shortly.....

i was looking at one...we camped in a Mo state park a few times, usually for a week at a time...the problem with our RV is the gray water is 45 gals cap and the black 50 gal...so to as not to have to move the RV..already leveled and the sat tv tuned in, I transfer some of the grey water to the black water...by bucket...it extends our stay for a week...I would carry mine on the ladder if I bought one, but since I figured out how to stay for a week dont think I will buy one now...good luck...p.s. besides I have no way of towing it, I would have to hang out the window and hold on to the tank.......
