RE: Let realtor show house while you are snowbirding?
We re-listed our house before we got back this last spring. We had one showing. We were not that concerned about who the house was shown too. I don't know about any place else but realtors screen people before they waste their time showing. I didn't keep the driveway or walkway open while we were gone. The house doesn't show well when left for the winter. We did sell our house a month after we got home. With very little snow for most of the winter, I think we could have sold our house if we would have left it on the market.It still was a rat race giving & selling off most of our stuff. I don't think I would want to do that in the dead of the winter in northern MN.
