RE: travel trailer length

There is no relationship between the model of the trailer and its actual length. My model is actually 28'8" long.
You might look at www.trailmanor.com where they have a model 2720 that has a swingaway tongue that allows it to fit into a normal garage.

RE: Egg on MH

After reading any responses you might try an internet search for `removing egg stain' or just `removing egg'.

Have you tried depressing either the H or the M for several seconds to see what happens?

RE: Worst/most dangerous design flaw is _______

I'm fairly convinced that most designers have never spent a night in one of their RVs.

RE: Newbie...need opinions on 2 possible rv's

I would go to www.rvknowhow.com and read/heed the Kieva's suggestions for how to select an RV.

RE: Help us figure out what trailer we need!

It might be helpful to go to www.rvknowhow.com and read/heed the Kieva's suggestions for how to select an RV.
For quality rigs you might want to contact www.rv.org, the RV Consumer Group, which rates RV's in several categories.

RE: My waterpump is working??

Try again with a full bottle of antifreeze. I like the idea of pouring some into the hose to the pump also.

RE: Can anyone update us on Huatabampito conditions?

Do a Google search for `Huatabampito weather conditions' and, if can convert Celsius to Fahrenheit you can get the temp forecast for the next few days, etc.
Best I can do.

RE: Best cover??

As posted many times we use a Sunshield tarp. It is on its 5th season. Can't say it is the best but it works for us. We use silver side down; black side up.
We bought it from West Marine or Boat US; don't remember which.
IMHO the `best' would be a permanent cover that you can drive in and out of.

RE: People setting up in your campsite

How about having a nice sign made with words like `This site is being used by the Wilsons' or something like that. Hang it on a metal post stuck in the ground in front of the site. Maybe that would be a sufficient `clue' to keep people out.

RE: Theft at campgrounds

We've never had anything stolen in five years of camping but we always stay in private campgrounds which, supposedly, may have a little better security. Those that steal may not always be the campers but outsiders who roam thru the campground looking for opportunities. The better security may minimize the roamers.

RE: I've narrowed it down to these two!!!!!

Better you go to www.rvknowhow.com and read the Kieva's suggestions for how to select an RV. I detect too much emphasis on `low price' and not enough on whether or not the RV will work for the desired RV lifestyle.

RE: Volunteering & sponsoring children in Mexico

Why go all the way to Mexico when there are plenty of places, maybe even in Canada, that could use your help unless there is is an ulterior motive of warm weather, etc.
I never could understand about sponsoring a child somewhere. Assuming you send them $X per month, how do you know the child is benefiting from that payment and, if they do benefit, how is the child treated by other children when they have more `stuff' than the others eg. more food, better clothes, etc.
The cynic in me says something doesn't sound right.

Didn't read all the responses but we use a Taylor 1456 monitor and two 1457 sensors but it can handle three sensors. Bought them from Parts Shelf.

Suggest you buy the biggest model; I think 12 ft. Not much more weight or money but considerably more carrying capacity.

RE: Need to Replace Plug on 50Amp Shore Cord

If you don't know what you are doing therefore may not do a good job suggest having a pro make the change. The plug draws a lot of amperage and will burn up if the connections are not made correctly.
