RE: Need a Last MInute Gift Idea

Or a George Foreman grill; if he does any cooking inside the camper.
Or a Black and Decker Ready Wrench.

RE: Utah Highway 12 I am nervous to drive it

You could review the road in Mountain Directory West to get a preview of what it's like.
Why do you have to travel a road you don't want to?

RE: Best Florida campgrounds

You could search this Forum for `Florida' in RV Parks category and sit back and read and read and read.
What's your definition of `best'?

RE: DisneyWorld

If you don't have any kids I would say that three days are sufficient. 1st day at Epcot, 2nd day at Animal Kingdom and 3rd day at Magic Kingdom. Possibly a 2nd day at Epcot.
It sort of depends on what a `day' is for you. For us about six hours is a day.

RE: Age (Liver) Spots. What Works?

Go to www.mayoclinic.com and type in `liver spots' for a review of the facts; not opinions.

RE: Front hitch to park trailer in tight spot???

You could search this Forum for `front hitch' and get immediate response. We initially had a front hitch for the reason you mention but learned to back good enough that we now only use it to carry two bikes.
But it would be lots easier...

RE: Rv park near Pinellas bike trail in Florida

Also Bel Aire but we stay at Dunedin just across the highway from the trail; also across the highway from a wonderful fresh fruit stand.

RE: Traveling Through Atlanta

We always take the bypass. It may be longer but the twists and turns going thru town are tough when towing. There's not a straight stretch of road thru Atlanta for more than 100 yards.

RE: Best Time of the Year for a Class A Purchase

I think the best time to buy an RV is when you have found the perfect one for your camping lifestyle following the advice of the Kieva's at www.rvknowhow.com.

RE: Yellowstone NP or North East?

Swallow your preferences and take your kids to the New England States which is where our country got started. We took a bus tour of Boston; a fascinating area. Don't try to drive around by yourselves.
We even ferried our camper over to Martha's Vineyard for a few days. The kids would like renting the mopeds to tour the island.
This summer we took our bikes (Schwinns) and spend a few days on the Erie Canal bikeway. We biked to Niagara Falls but it is not worth the drive across the state of NY just to see it; rent a video!

RE: Expected life of Nev-R-Lube bearings

In my previous life we bought electric motors that had lifetime lubricated bearings and the courts determined that `lifetime' meant seven years!
We had our Nev-R-Lube bearings repacked after about five years.

RE: Bike Rack On Ladder

This ones easy. Search this Forum for `bike rack' then search the results for words like `ladder' or `tandem' or whatever. Lots of responses already.
You could also do a Google search for `tandem bike rack'. Here is one place that sells a rack for about $300 that fits in a 2" receiver like we have on the front of our tow vehicle. http://cyclesimplex.com/tandem-bike-racks.asp

RE: Need advice on route to go south

From Chicago we take I-57 almost to the end of the state of Illinois then pick up I-24 all the way to I-75. Can't hardly get lost.
We stay the first night at Duck Creek RV Park in Paducah, KY the next night in Chattanooga, TN and the 3rd night in Cordele, GA. We like to keep it around 300 miles per day. We drive for two hours then stop to stretch and switch drivers. Makes for a very relaxed trip.

RE: Grand Canyon - North or South Rim

Only about 10% of the GC visitors go to the North Rim. Therefore, for the South Rim the other 90% go there for an average length of time of three hours. Obviously not many are hikers.

RE: No electricity at Fishing Bridge this summer-2010

If the bison won't move for a bunch of automobiles they won't be bothered with some generator noise but you may have to leave the campground to find them!

RE: Advice on Florida rv resorts

Next to Fort Wilderness in DisneyWorld our favorite is Blueberry Hill RV Resort in Bushnell, FL. Large sites and friendly staff and RVers. And, for your shopping pleasure, it is right across the street from Wal-Mart!
If you call right now you may be able to get in there. They were not filled last year in January.

RE: Grand Canyon - North or South Rim

You can get lots of information by searching this Forum for `Grand Canyon' then search the results for `south rim' or `north rim' or just search for either one.
Why choose one. Why not visit both?
