RE: Common sense and the Flying J dump station..

Yup, rude. At the FlyingJ in Des Moines, Ia. watched a guy walk away after fueling. A few minutes later the guy behind him that was waiting got into the Class C and drove it away from the pump area while, his wife pulled into pumps.
To many waiting to fuel, so we had to leave. But my wife said when the owner of the C came out to the pumps their was a lot of arm waving going on. ????

RE: How do I get around Atlanta??

Guess we have been lucky staying on 75 thru Atlanta, but we have always done it on Sunday mornings around noon with no traffic problems.

RE: Financing a new coach

Maybe just me, but I would NEVER re-fi my home to buy a 'depreciating' asset for sure. Yeah, I know, most homes have depreciated for now as well, but in the long run the stick house will come back in value, the RV will not !! JMHO
cheers
You are not alone. Our house has been paid off for several years and would never re-fi to buy toys.
Many people used the stick house as a ATM and now have no house, but they do have their toys. One for example rents a house from us.

RE: Flagstaff, AZ Camping

I think you would enjoy Williams, AZ a lot better than Flagstaff.
Flagstaff is the only place we were asked not to park in WalMart. We just stopped to shop in the middle of the day (??) had no intention of sleeping/camping.
Weather in May, never know.

RE: cummins isc proper running temp

That's fine. A reading of 180 to 210 is normal for the ISC or 8.3.
At a Cummins seminar I attended, the technicians called the motorhome instrument panels "entertainment panels" since the instruments were typically inaccurately calibrated. What you want to do is just watch for a change in the reading and not pay too much attention to the numbers.
Now isn't that a warm-fuzzy feeling! A instrument that's suppose to be protection for a $15,000. item !

RE: Financing a new coach

Talking with a friend yesterday, that is looking at Tiffin Bus. He said he had a credit score in the 8s and loan company (?) wanted 35 percent down. Did not tell the interest rate since he seemed to have lost interest.

Bend the wings down or break them off and replace with a ball-valve.

RE: TV straps

On ours the space in the back is no help. All attachments on on the front.
Four screws, two at the bottom covered with caps. One on the right side behind the lift door of house gages. The one on the left behind the door for our TV switch box. This one is a pain. Remove the trim, should be no damage. The two scews on the side are about 31/2" long and turn hard.
Best to have help if you are going to remove that heavy TV.

RE: Water Pressure Regulator

Not sure of that model. Should be out going/set pressure, if you tighten the screw, pressure should go up or lossen and it goes down.

RE: Bill from OK

Was he from Cresco, Iowa ?? Did he repaint the basement doors on the first one and posted pictures?
I think he bought a used one down in N.C., or somewhere in the south.
He ended up with two DPs.

RE: Water tank plumbing leaks ... how to replace?

Fernco also makes a hub (end of a fitting) to pipe rubber fitting.
This would fit over the end of the 90 and and reduce to pipe size on the other end.
These all look like stress-cracks, need a Fernco to let it flex.
With that hose clamp already there, that must be a street L and not a 90 elbow. I would lossen the hose clamp and remove back to the broken section.
There are also drill bits that are made just for drilling out ABS pipe out of ABS fittings.
