RE: New Tires for my Raptor MP300

I have the Maxxis on my Raptor 299, which is also a dual axle like your 300. It has been three years, being loaded to the max capacity and they are still in great shape, no cracking or any separation.
Good luck

RE: Raptor 299 electric slide manual overide

I think mine may look like that, however my underbelly is sealed so I can't see it, or access it from the other side. There has to be a better way!

Raptor 299 electric slide manual overide

Hi, I have a 2007 Raptor 299 that has a single electric slide for the dinnette only. i have the batteries out and want to use the manual overide to open the slide out. I cant find out how. I looked on lipperts website and my motor is on the inside up under the insulated cover. On the opposite side i can't find a hole in the chassis to crank it open. Does anyone here have one and know how to do it?
Thanks, Eric

Battery corrosion question

Hi, I have 4 six volt batteries that are less than 6 months old. My last four started to get that corrosion white powder stuff around them. It would be on the bottom corners of the batteries and straps that hold them down. They are not in battery boxes, they wont fit, they are in the factory racks by keystone. I cleaned the area real good when I replaced the batteries and it is coming back. I just took them out again to clean and repaint the metal racks they sit in. What can I do to stop this from happening? Is it overcharging or something?
Thanks in advance,
Eric

RE: Suburban water heater calcium build-up

I just read an article on RV Travel newsletter...they poured white vinegar in the hole that the anode came out of, let it sit, then blasted it out with a hose....If you want the article, I'll try to dig up the link
Thank you but you dont need to dig it up. I basically did just that with water, maybe I will add some vinegar in there.
I have a wand similar to that one, I am just concerned about the left overs in there.

Suburban water heater calcium build-up

I have a 5 year old Suburban water heater that I just drained, and am trying to get all the calcium out. I have the drain plug out, and if I put one of those pen lights in the drain hole, I can see some more small chunks of calcium. I also noticed that the drain hole is about 1/4 inch high, so there is about a 1/4 inch of water still sitting in there. My question is, do I need to get every little piece of calcium out? I have a small little hose that I put in there and it blasts out most of it, just not all. Please let me know what you guys do.
Thanks
