darsben, thank you again for your post, and thank you for identifying an error on our Good Sam Roadside Assistance website. We are in the process of correcting the text. All plan summaries should read “Flat Tire Service/RV Tire Delivery”, not “Flat Tire Repair Service/RV Tire Delivery.” Flat tire repair is not an element of our Good Sam Roadside Assistance benefit package. The Member Benefit Brochure correctly summarizes the elements of “Flat Tire Service.” Please send me a private message if you would like to discuss further. Thank you for your membership. Revconguy, darsben…Thank you for your posts. The purpose of the Good Sam Roadside Assistance program is to provide roadside assistance…which is required to enable the vehicle to either proceed safely under its own power, or to be towed to the nearest professional service center for repair. We strive to achieve this objective when responding to a great variety of possible roadside assistance situations. For example, consider a situation where you, our member, call Good Sam Roadside Assistance Dispatch to request RV roadside assistance, and Dispatch, after gathering information regarding the nature of your disablement, decides to send a Mobile Mechanic. If the Mobile Mechanic is unable to resolve the disablement, following your callback to Dispatch, we will dispatch a service provider to tow your RV to the nearest professional service center capable and willing to repair your RV. Again, our objective is to assist you to proceed safely under your own power, or tow you to the nearest professional service center for repair. As indicated in the Good Sam Roadside Assistance Member Benefit Brochure (available at http://www.goodsamroadside.com/images/pdf/GRA31138.pdf): “The purpose of the Good Sam Roadside Assistance program is to provide roadside assistance, in the event of a disablement of any vehicle in the possession of either you or any allowable family member under this program, which is required to enable that vehicle to either proceed safely under its own power, or to be towed to the nearest professional service center for repair. This benefit is not intended to be used in lieu of routine maintenance or needed repairs on your vehicle.” Expressed another way, we will tow you to a repair facility, or we will “bring the repair facility to you” in the form of a mobile mechanic. Your Good Sam Roadside Assistance membership covers the mobile mechanic service call, you cover parts and labor. This is similar to you being towed to a repair facility where you would pay a mechanic to repair your RV. If you have additional questions, please send me a private message and I will contact you. Regarding law enforcement and toll roads, please note the following from the Good Sam Roadside Assistance Member Benefits Brochure: “At their discretion, law enforcement officers may radio for a non-program emergency service provider. If this happens, please call for reimbursement information. Towing or disablement service charges may also be eligible for reimbursement when a law enforcement officer requests those services from a non-program provider in the event that a Member’s vehicle breaks down on a limited access or toll road.” If you would like to discuss further, please send me a PM. I would like to respond to your post by inserting an excerpt from the Member Benefit Brochure: “If necessary and whenever possible, depending on the disablement, there may be a local mobile mechanic available that can perform minor repairs or adjustments to the Member’s RV. In these situations, we will attempt to assist in arranging for a mobile mechanic to come to the disablement location as an alternative to towing the RV. Member and Associate are responsible for all cost of parts, labor and any additional trip charges/runs for more parts.” Your Roadside Assistance membership covers the mobile mechanic trip out and trip back, you cover parts and labor. This is similar to you being towed to a repair facility where you would pay a mechanic to repair your RV. Thank you for your membership. Frank Good Sam Roadside Assistance

Following-up my post of yesterday afternoon, we did deactivate the service provider, Orlando Emergency Roadside Service. We have since learned that the service provider operated under more than one business identity. We have targeted all related businesses and will have all deactivated by close of business today. We regret that when we first addressed this issue that we did not address the full scope of the problem. We are disappointed that we dropped the ball. I responded to a post yesterday with the following: Our commitment to you, a Good Sam Roadside Assistance Member, is to respond to your need for roadside assistance and ensure that you receive the highest quality service, from beginning to end. As the Member Benefit Brochure explains, if there is a problem with the service, call us back, and we will make it right. If we stumble on that objective, we will make it right. Our Good Sam Roadside Assistance role begins when you call our Dispatch Center for assistance and continues through the delivery of service by our certified, bonded, and insured service providers. As the Member Benefit Brochure explains, if there is a problem with the service, call us back, and we will make it right. Also, regarding the original post by Grandpere that addressed the ability to locate a Service Provider, our ongoing commitment is to deliver service to you, our member, on time, every time. If we stumble on that objective, we will make it right. Although the immediate availability of a service provider, matched to your roadside disablement, may be affected by location, weather, time of day, day of week, traffic conditions, holidays, etc., we will continue the process to locate a service provider to meet your needs.
