RE: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That will teach me to read the headers on the pics. First, I see the Roo, then the other pics. I thought it looked "a little" roomy for a Roo rofl ROFLMFAO... Thats funny... Don't you know its all about how the pics are taken! Man with the right lens you can accomplish anything...

RE: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just picked up our Laredo 303TG a few hours ago! It is refreshing to see somebody towing with plenty of truck. I get so tired of all the threads about 'can I get by with the tow vehicle I have'. You have more than enough truck and I know that adds to the enjoyment and safety of the tow. The trailer is not too shabby, either. I agree! I third that. My brother Big Juan (here on RV.net) was over while I was packing up one day. He pulls a Jayco 26' (no slide) BH with a 1/2 ton Yukon XL and he said he pays VERY close attention to how much weight he has. I was loading up our 26' (no slide) Springdale BH and I just kept throwing suff in and throwing stuff in and he asked me how much does all this stuff weigh and I replied that I didn't know and he looked shocked. He then asked me what I take with me and I said that I take whatever I want. Ahhh, the joys of using an Excursion to pull your camper...

Love it... Enjoy it and the time with your kids. That was the main reason that I bought mine.

RE: 5'ER OR TT??

I'm wanting to move from using my Excursion to a pickup truck for hauling once I can justify buying a new truck. Then this is a question that I'll be asking too.

RE: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New to the forum as well. I am 20 years old and me and my girlfriend love to camp. We always have camped in a tent and finally decided to get a trailer, but couldn't afford a newer one so settled with this one. Everything works in it and isn't in bad shape. 1978 Prowler towed by my 2008 Dodge Ram 5.7 liter Hemi. http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k22/MetalGrand/IMG_0782_zps0711729c.jpg width=640 If it keeps the weather out, and the plumbing, fridge, furnace and stove work its PERFECT!!!

RE: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, 25 or 30 below might be pushing it.... But I'd be okay out there around 0 with my wife... Kids would hate it though... My wife and I can keep ourselves busy out there though.

RE: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand that... I would love to get out and do some camping in mine. I'm even okay with the cold weather, but I'm worried I'd have a pipe freeze up on me... I think next time I want one with a polar package with a heated underbelly so that I can do 4 season camping.

RE: I had to shed a little tear today...

I usually camp with one of my friends until beginning of November, but Tara and I have a trip coming up next month so I couldn't justify spending the extra $$$ pulling the camper anywhere when I could use that bit of cash for our trip. Next year its on though!!!

RE: I had to shed a little tear today...

Yuup......did that day before yesterday. Trees are shedding leaves like crazy and its getting cold. We are done for the season. This year our old gal will have company as we bought a boat, now both of them will be in the heated shop when its minus 40 outside. http://i.imgur.com/Fg0OB.jpg SWD I hope to someday have a building big enough to park my camper in as well!

RE: I had to shed a little tear today...

LOL, hot tub stays on year round here. I just drop the temp down to about 97 degrees. Nice and comfortable with a cocktail and the sound of the waterfall in the koi pond on a summer night. Now that sounds like a great way to unwind year round right there!
