RE: best way to clean oil/grease on cab carpet?

I guess I should have said more about this product. Don't want to sound like an infomercial. Try it...you'll LOVE it for everything.

RE: Water damage repair.

What "wood" are they made of? You could get a real wood panel at Lowe's that should match well.

RE: RV sharing agreement

When I bought my MH one of the reasons was so that my kids could get some use out of it too. So I share. My son has used it and is very good about returning it in same or better condition than he borrowed it. He has wanted to use it when there is something that needs to be fixed, generator last time. When it was returned the generator was fixed. My daughter has not used it. She and her husband do a lot of tail gating and I thought they would love to use it. I would not want to sign any contract with them. All of my 'stuff' they can use. I'd rather see them enjoy it too rather than having it just sitting. IF they did not take care of my property that would be a different problem. I wouldn't mind paying for the repairs if they get them done, but he does it all. The fact that I didn't pay much for my little 24' Four Winds probably is one reason. I certainly might feel differently if I had paid several $100k for it. Nah...he's a good kid and I trust him. (30yo).

RE: updated the patio on my trailer

That is so cool. I guess you could use it as a toy hauler too. Never seen one before.

RE: Leak around a window - I want your $0.02

I just noticed that the picture was of the outside of the window. Oooops. I would still try blowing them out with an airhose, it's a good thing to do each year. You will be surprised at what gets stuck in there keeping it backed up.

RE: Leak around a window - I want your $0.02

I would try to blow/clean out the weep hole on the window first before I removed the window. It looks like the black foam in the window slide is wet... maybe due to condensation. I like to go with the easiest possible solution first. I had this problem on my large slide side window. A lot of dirt, bugs and 'muck' came out. I cleaned all the windows and it stopped the problem.

RE: 2000 chateau electric stablizers problem

These folks are wonderful! So glad it was an easy fix. I had to go to another forum to find the QUICK fix to my generator problem of why it was not making power. Again the 'problem' solver was exactly correct. RV folks are mighty nice people.

RE: Cars in Truck lanes at rest areas

Just a thought... if I were wanting to get some sleep...I believe I would feel safer being parked with the trucks and RV's knowing that there was someone besides me there. As I say...just a thought.

RE: interior noise class a vs c

Oh for Pete's sake. The easy peasy solution is to just get older. We don't hear any noise in our class C. Nothing rattles or shakes...quiet as a mouse!

RE: RV Toilet Paper Etc.

Pretty pricey and kinda iffy for flushing. By some baby wipes and disposed of them in a waste can.

RE: Booth Vs. Table

The idea of planning for company seems to be second to the idea of what is best for the owners. We don't do much entertaining in our MH because it is a small one. Seems that the best solution is the most comfortable one for your parents.

RE: Locking swing out TV mounts

Artum Snowbird, I got one at Amazon $12.99!!!!! Holds a 13" RCA DVD TV. Tilts and swings out. Light weight. I put industrial Velcro on the bracket and the cabinet- doesn't, move. Designer Habitat Basics. Fits 13" - 23". Works great!

RE: mattress/memory foam

The mattress in ours was not what I wanted to sleep on. With the cut corner the memory foam was the way I went. Sleeps good. Is affected by temperature - will get harder as it get colder, but this does not seem to change the comfort level.

RE: What national Stores will let you stay overnight ?

Mr. Rockhillmanor is coming off poorly in this thread as he is sounding a bit pretentious. One would think that he should keep his hands out of our wallets and nose out of our business.
