FALCON 2 tow bar ?

I have a Falcon 2 tow bar. My question: When you're driving the RV with the tow bar in the stowed position (folded and parallel to the ground) should the extension arms of the tow bar work there way out. I have had the tow bar for 9 years and do not remember this happening before. Thanks for any info. Hoot

RE: toad towing

I have pulled a 2001 PT 5 speed for around 60,000 miles. I have a check list taped to the top of the visor. ie double check the tow hook-up, check lights- tail, direction, brake, emergency brake off, shift in nutural, key in first position, set brake buddy and test 3 or 4 times to be sure the brakes don't lock the first time I apply the brake. I only had a problem once when I towed all day with the lights on for the motor home in the rain and the Pts tail lights were on. I needed to unhook and jump from the mh to the pt. good luck. Hoot

NORCOLD refrig. problem

I have a 10 yr. old norcold refrig. On gas it has started to make a pop noise and the flame goes out for an instant or up to a second and then comes back on and is fine for 5 minutes and then repeats the pop. It generally maintains temp. but it had a hard time last winter when we were dry canping in 80 degree heat. Any ideas or solutions. Hoot

Awning replacement

I have a 2000 Holiday Rambler and need to replace the Carefree of Colorado slide topper that also extends as a window awning. I have been looking for info. on how to secure the roller spring but can't find any info on line. I understand that you need to insert a pin in the roller but need more info. I would appreciate any help. or where I can go to get directions. Also how would I incease tension on the spring. Thanks, Hoot
