Congratulations to the Denver Broncos on their Championship! They are a truly classy organization from top to bottom.

RE: TT without wardrobe cabinets next to master bed

How about switching how you sleep? Put your heads on the "outside" end of the bed with your feet in the end between the cabinet/closets. That solves her claustrophobic feeling, but your pillows may fall off!

RE: Quality of Lance Trailers?

We looked at Lance TTs last year. Our biggest drawback was the lack of cabinets over the bed, dinette, etc. which really limited the storage.

RE: 53k list price on a Ram what should I pay?

Around here the dealers advertise $10,000 off BEFORE you even start negotiating.

RE: Silverado 1500... Enough?

You will be okay until you try to go up a hill. Then you will wish you did not have the 3.42 rear end!

RE: Ownership Partner

Back in the 1970s when I was single, my dentist (also single) and I bought a Piper Commanche together. We laid out rules regarding maintanence, expenses, insurance, who had priority on using it, etc. and everything worked out very well. THEN....he got married and his wife didn't like flying and demanded he sell his half. That is when it turned bad. He wanted to sell to the first person that said yes. I wanted to have a say so on who he sold to since it would now be MY new partner. After a lot of angry back and forth, we both ended up selling the plane to one party. I bought a Cherokee by myself and said "no more" to partnerships. He and I ended up no longer friends and one year later he got a divorce.

RE: What Did You Do With Your Heirlooms And Jewellery?

I sold it all since I have no heirs that wear (or care about) jewelry. Luckily, it was when gold was around $1660 an ounce.

RE: GS Loans - poor response

You should never have to beg a company to take your money!! If they are bad when you are spending money with them, think what they will be like when you NEED them! Go to another company.

RE: Pay for parts up front?

I had to replace our awning this summer and I used my mobile repair man. He came and measured, made the install appt. withg me for the next week, and came back with the awning at the appt. time. He installed it, I paid him THEN, and we were all happy! If the small business mobile repair guy can order it without payment, CW certainly should!!!

RE: Canadian Rockies itinerary assistance

I think 3-4 days would be plenty around Banff, then move on up towards Jasper. You could use the many campgrounds between Banff and Jasper for a couple of days at each to enjoy scenery and hiking. Lake Louise, Icefields, etc. are all great areas to explore. Then I would cross over the mtn. to B.C. It is great in any direction.

RE: Buy a rental class B?

Why would you want to buy a rental vehicle of any kind? People don't take care of rentals, and they abuse them in many ways that won't show for a bit of time. We often see folks in rental doing stupid things with them in CGs and on the road.

RE: Nash 17K or Lance 1685

I buy the Nash for the better quality construction, insulation, and re-sale value.
