RE: STRESS FRACTURES

Take a very SMALL drill bit and drill a hole at the end of each crack to stop the run until you can get it patched.

RE: National RV owners.

Have an 2001 with 85,000 miles and would buy another if I could. A company called Ortega manufacturing bought the molds for the front and rear caps and I think doors. Go for it if you like the floor plan.

RE: Jacks

It looks like they are Power Gear Jacks. You could go to there web site and down load the directions. But for starters. On mine the e-brake has to be on, the transmission in park, it helps to have the engine running as they eat up the 12 volt power, or have the key in the run position. Then mine says to start by raising the front several inches then the rear jacks are used to level side to side.

RE: loss of gauges

I would also look for a loose ground wire, on the gauge panel or where the panel grounds.

RE: bay heater

If it's like mine you should see a 3" air heater hose in the basement some where.

RE: Transmission Fluid Gritty Checked Cold

Could it be just a little rust from the fill tube?? If you really want to filter your trans fluid using more then just the screen in the trans. then install an in-line filter. Motorcraft FT-167 $46.27 or the same filter in NAPA 1-8514 $22.49. This is the same filter required by Ford if the trans had to be rebuilt. It's a Megifine(sp) with a bypass.

RE: need help please!!

Park models usually have NO tanks for fresh water or black and gray water so you must be camped somewhere where you will have full hook ups. Not sure but a park model is probable wired for 110 volt only, no 12 volt for dry camping. May not even have propane tanks. A park model is a small manufactured home.

RE: Radio speakers

I think if you don't go to big in speaker power load you can just tie into another set of speakers. Ex. say you have 2 rear seat speakers you could tie into the rear speakers and add 2 more one on each side ( right and left)

RE: what year is my motor home

The chassis could have been built in 03 and the house added in 04 or late 03. The model year it was sold as is the year of record for the paper work. So the parts in the book for the chassis may be listed as 03, but the RV is an 04.

RE: Wiring for HHR Lights

If you look at the tail lights at the 3 o'clock and 7 o'clock position( sorry can't remember which side gets the 3 o'clock etc.) you can install separate bulbs and socket and not have to worry about tying into the original wiring helped a friend do his.

RE: Insufficient heat on '04 Ford F53 chassis

On mine if you go to the front and follow the heater hoses one runs into a metal controller with a lever that controls the amount of hot water that flows to the heater core. See if you can locate this controller and see if it is opening all the way. On mine it's attached to the back side of a brace. behind the front cap.

RE: 1998 Toyota Tacoma 4wd Automatic with Lock Out hubs

Are you talking about an A frame hitch that stays attached to your toad? Or the type that has one Leg that folds next to the other? I found the A frame and the one with the folding leg were harder to hook up and most times needed two people one to drive the toad the other to guide the bar to hit the ball. they also take up more room in storage mode and how to keep some one from walking off with them.
With the sliding leg type that stays on the MH you don't need to be dead on for hooking them up, one person can do the hookup and they are locked to the MH and store on the MH.
