I installed plexi glass on the screen door to help with heat loss / ac loss
so now I can leave the door open and still keep the toy hauler cool or warm .

We have a mattress pad. Love it. Takes the chill off before we go to bed. Have had it for a couple of years with no problems. Got it at K-Mart . Nothing fancy.

We made the move from a trailer to a toy hauler. Never looked back. More room . Not so cluttered. We train and run Bird Dogs so the extra space is great . We use the top bunks for storage when we don't have guests , can secure the dog crates so they don't slide around .Ours is a 23 footer so easy to tow / park etc.

RE: direct T.V. and Tailgator
Well I was just on the line with direct T.V.'s technical support team and had the opportunity to talk with them about a Direct T.V. equivelent to the tailgator . They said there is actually something in the works !! So I'm waiting to see what they come up with.

Why dosn't direct t.v. have the equivelant of a tailgator for there system
Reasonable price, easy set up etc.
It's not like they don't have the tecnology, basically same set up just different sat's , company etc.
Sure hope they come out with one soon.

RE: Food Pantry question
I bought a cabinet with door at wall mart that can be mounted on a wall. I have it setting in a corner on the flooor. Has 3 shelves that canned goods go in. With the weight of canned goods I would be a little reluctant to hang it on a wall. Also have a open faced cabinet ( same size that I sit on top of it that holds dvd's etc. I used 3M heavy mounting strips to attach them to the wall. Can easily be removed with out marring the wall and keeps them secure while traveling.

RE: Electric bed lift-removing one bed?
I was actually thinking about doing the same thing and just useing the one left as a storage shelf. Would still have the couch that folds down into a bed any way. Plus I have to put the couch down any way in order for the beds to lower all the way. If the couch was another 2 inches over it would miss the lower bed and I wouldn't have to mess with puting it down ever time I wanted to use the beds. My guess is they didn't measure right when they installed the couch. Oh well I still love my toy hauler.

Fishing & Hunt tests for the dogs
YAHOO !! Off to the Big Sky Country. Leaving this afternoon after work. Going to hopefully do a little fly fishing this week. Then run the dogs in a Hunt Test at Twin Bridges over the week-end. Then it's back to work again to pay for it all. Can't wait. Should be fun. Ah heck any time you get aout of town it's fun right !

We love our Keystone. Feel it is very well put togeather. We have owned it since 09. Been to California, Montana, Idaho several trips here in Washington. No problems. We have a 09 Keystone Energy . Would not hesitate to buy another one.
