RE: Can't send attachments in Yahoo Mail

If you have Windows 7 why not set up a live account? It should be compatable with your Yahoo account? We use that on our computer with no problems and no problems with attachments

RE: Possibly a feather in Sam's cap!

I don't think it will matter how much you spend on trying to educate people on how to drive. They don't care that you, me or the truckers need more room to stop. My opinion only

RE: Kelowna to Moab

I will give you our favorite route as far as Idaho. We take 97 into Washington, then also 17 south. There is some great scenery along 17. When you get to Tri Cities take I82 through Oregon and into Idaho. When you get into Idaho take Hwy 30. Again great scenery along the snake river on that route.

RE: Sending scanned docs?

Any document can be converted to a pdf. There are lots of free conversion sites on the web to do that and then you should have no problem sending documents. Everyone can open a pdf

RE: Astoria OR. to L.A. best route and what to see

We would also recommend the coast route. We have done that and the scenery is great with lots to see and do.

RE: Sun is shining and camping is just around the corner!

Definitely got cabin fever out west. Yes it is time to get out and do some more RV'ing.

RE: looking at a 1998 Holiday Rambler Vacationer 36ft

If it is in good shape and all the appliances are maintained and working good then 18000 seems reasonable. Watch the electrical if the unit has been around salt water. We bought a 98 and had to replace slide electrical, leveller solenoids and more because of corrosion caused by salt air.

RE: vent cap

The cap will prevent debris (leaves, etc) and rain (not much would get down the pipe) from getting into the tanks. Leaves could plug the vent and cause oders if parked under trees for a period of time. I would replace the cap.

RE: Traveling from So Cal to Houston Texas

I use this one. The two sites are using the same information as Woodalls and Trailer Life joined. There is only one rep team for the Good Sam brand as Woodalls was dropped. They are still using the Woodalls site and forum which is the one I am on now. But I am sure in a short time it will all be Good Sam as that is the new branding they are going for.

RE: Best Product for renewing gel coat?

I don't know if how I do it is right or wrong but I have used Turtle Cut Wax and it seems to get the oxidization off and restore the shine. It is a lot of work and elbow grease though and it won't help if the decals are faded and cracked.

RE: GPS Mounting on truck dashboard

What kind of GPS did you get, the one we use has the speaker in the GPS itself.

RE: Used motorhomes

My experience with motor homes is 10 year for the coach and appliances seems to be the magic number, but there are always exceptions to the rule.

What happened??

I have just spent a lot of time on a thread talking about security when camping. The general consensus seems to be buy a gun. When did it become so acceptable to resort to violence as a civilized society? Does that make the good any different from the bad guys? I don't think so? Are we so paranoid and has the negative taken over completely? I remember the days when RV'ers were friendly, helpful and some of the most positive people on the planet and now there is so much fear that a lot of people seem afraid to live. It is a sad time in our society that fear, paranoia and violence is the norm. And we just accept that, that is the way it is. We used to love to spend our winters in the US and now I am wondering if it is even safe to do so, when so many people carry guns for protection against other people. Sorry for the rant, but it does make one wonder where we are going.

RE: furnace blowing cold air in 1996 coleman cheyenne PUP!

Could be several things. Sail switch not allowing the burner to ignite. Ignitor not positioned properly. Faulty gas valve. Gas not turned on to furnace. And more...

RE: Air for Winterizing?

Be careful when blowing air. We had that done to our motor home one year for winterizing, but the air did not blow all the water out of the water pump and so guess what? New pump in the spring. Now we use anti freeze and have never had a problem. Thats kind of why I'm thinking just because we are a bit more North of you (couple more hrs North of Prince George) that I would blow out what water I could and then just maybe run some pink into the lines anyways. Ernie I would vote for that also.
