A land line is not required for installation.
All it's used for is ordering movies without having to get on the web or calling them with a fee to order.
Don't let anyone kid you, you don't have to have the phone connected unless you have a sport subscription so they can verify your location for blackout rules or so I am told.

Never liked contesting and for too many Field Day is just a contest.
Did a few with the wrong clubs if you know what I mean.
Field Day should be enjoyed, not stressful.

I have known 4 close friends that have died from cancer.

OK, the lease. First of all make sure you are not moving.
It can be a problem.
If you lease make sure you pay enough in your lease for the mileage you may drive. The costs of paying the overage when you turn it in are high in most cases.
And you can walk away but if you don't get another from the company I think you will find that they will nit pick the car you turn in and then tell you if you get another from them they will waive the damages. It's just a sales tactic.

I got two phone calls from my kids. That's OK too as I know they love me and that's all that counts anyway.
I told them to save their money as they are both out of work in this economy such as it is and looking.
For myself while the rest of the fathers were being "entertained" by family (mine are a few miles away from here) the wife and I went trout fishing. :B

I have had DirecTV since roughly 1994 with only a few periods without.
Everyone I know that got mad at them and went to Dish came back.
Directv has lost the good customer service they used to have, but if you yell loud enough they will take care of you.

I have been told that these discount sites are fine if you are making reservations last minute or in the last few days.
The hotels offer up rooms they have not booked then I am told.
But booking a trip in advance so you have rooms in popular areas I still think you are better off to go directly to the chain you are dealing with.

Yes, it's a need to know just like many other weapons that we have.
I worked as a civilian on our nuc subs until retirement and the dive depth and speeds they can attain are also classified.
Need to know~~~you know!

I had many opportunities to see them pretty close while serving in the military and seeing them fly.
They were amazing to see.
Just think though, as far as I know the actual top speeds of this aircraft are still classified or were until just a few years ago. And that was late 50s and early 60s technology!
Makes you wonder just what we have flying today they don't talk about.
And I understand that a couple of these birds are still in service. I think one is with NASA.

Grab a real estate for sale sign and plant it on her lawn in the middle of the night. Maybe she will take the hint.
I had a lousy neighbor many years ago that moved next to me. Behind the scenes I "influenced" let's say his next move. He was gone in 6 months and it didn't cost me a dime.

Yes it just pays to shop around.
The other hotel that was not even listed with them had what I thought was a pretty good deal on their site that ended the day I was looking.
I booked it as I could cancel up to 24 hours prior to arrival with no charges.
Then a couple of days later I checked back to see if a better deal could be had and the best deal prices went up $32 a night.
I think I will stay with what I have.

My wife and I are taking a trip and using hotels. It's going to be our 40th anniversary.
We were looking for some rooms in the future in a popular area.
I had already booked a 3 night stay at the one hotel directly online which can be canceled at any time.
My wife insisted that I try a service as such to see if we could save any money.
I looked at the same place, same room and it was $62 higher than booking directly with the hotel we will be at.
No deals there anyway.
And the other city and hotel I wanted to stay at was not even listed with the outfit.
Strange.

I hoped I helped someone anyway.
I would hate to think of of kid getting drowned.
With nobody out there on the lake with these inexperienced kids in the canoes it would have only taken a few seconds for one to tip over and for the kid to slip out of the improperly fastened vest.
