RE: Gooseneck Conversion

A while back I said I would post some pics of the different items I made for this trailer.
Here is the battery box.

Here is the trickle charger wired into the battery bank.

The control box for lights and the keyed switch for the fuel pumps.

And I added a light for hooking up to the truck.

Not pictured are LED lights at the stab jack locations for setting up at night. I also added LED lights that backlight the stairs. Located in the control box is a switch that can turn on the trailer parking lights too.

RE: Black Tank Smell when Flushing Out

After checking everything out and not finding a problem I think that the AAV may be not working alll the time properly. I have no other idea other then that. The last time I drained the tanks I checked for the smell and didn't notice it at all. I guess I'll just keep an eye on it and see what developes.

RE: Black Tank Smell when Flushing Out

After checking the vent pipe and stuff I guess its the AAV. I drained the gray tank today and got no smell. Next week after camping I'll replace the AAV and try that.

Black Tank Smell when Flushing Out

I have a bad smell when I flush out the black tank after emptying it. I have looked down the vent hole in the roof and there isn't any blockage that I can see, nor is the pipe disconnected either. The smell seems to come from the shower area/sink area not from the toilet which is a seperate room.
Do any of you have any suggestions? I talked to my local dealer as this trailer is under warrenty but they had no ideas other then what I just listed. Also they charge min. $55 for troubleshooting even if under warrenty so I won't take it there. (yes I bought it there)
The trailer is a 2011 Timber Ridge 250RLS with the front bedroom and split bathroom.
