RE: Generator on while driving?

We drive with our generator going specially when its hot out as we run the A/C as we also have animals and the regular A/C doesn't work in the back of the rig. And at that time i can put the crock pot on and have dinner ready when we get to were we are going.

RE: ROAD WARRIOR PETS - Class C

Well we have you all beat, when we travel we travel with 10 cats, now 11 and they all do well accept one. And he does ok if we don't start out on windy roads. If he has been in the motor home for a day or two he does ok with the windy roads as long as we don't start out the morning that way. Most of them were bottle fed babies and started out small in the motor home.. We did have a 23 ft motor home no slides and as the family grew we went to a 30 ft. Oh yes and we have a Pomeranian that loves to travel in the motor home. We do have to watch out for our slides as the cats like to crawl in there when the slides are in, so we have to block them off with foam and pillows. For those that are thinking about getting a kitten or never had a cat in a slide out motor home this is something to pay attention too. We usually never stay in campgrounds as we prefer to dry camp, but had one problem in Needles at a campground that first he wanted to know how old our 23 ft motor home was as they wouldn't accept anything older than 10 yrs. which ours was but he said it was nice looking. Then we were filling out the papers and he asked if we had pets and we said yes we have 10 cats, well he said there limit was 2 pets only. Which i had to come back and say our cats are never outside and never bark and they are well taken care of. Well that didn't matter so we left and hubby was madder than you know what. Well our cats are clean and people that have come into my home and in the motor home have no clue how many cats as they can't smell a thing. They are always amazed. Now i wish i can go camping as we don't get to go much anymore.

RE: Installing "wood" flooring on a slide out motorhome

We did ours and there was no problem. Our couch sits on the slide but we did not do that part left the carpet under the couch. but as far as any problem with the slide coming over the wood floor there wasn't any.
