RE: Tenth Annual RV.net Class B Rally (B10)

My condolences to Bob & Shaaron on their loss. I'm glad to hear that Michael's surgery went well and will pray for a speedy and successful recovery. It sure would be nice to see you RV.net B folks again (soon). - LJZ 2002/2003 Pleasure-Way Excel TS

RE: Tenth Annual RV.net Class B Rally (B10)

Bob and Shaaron also spent a lot of their own money traveling up to Kincheloe more than once to set this event up. They asked nothing for it. It is not like this place was next door to them. They worked on it for nearly a year all on their own time and expense. If we nit pick the organizers of these events over details that can wait and fail to recognize the tremendous effort and personal expense involved soon no one will be willing to host these events. I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank Davyyd for kicking me out of his Facebook B Social Group. Hope y'all enjoyed the rally! - LJZ

RE: Tenth Annual RV.net Class B Rally (B10)

We had a couple from WA at the first rally. Isn't that on the west coast? - LJZ

Great, Bob & Shaaron. Now you know where to send your payment for the rally fees. Don't forget to send that check! ;) Thanks for responding. - LJZ

Wow, I'm usually the one getting computer instructions from David. Thank God I can get to the page without having a web cache problem whatever that is? I also don't know how to force my browser to reload. I'm a lucky man today. Too funny. My nerd humor is apparent. Just curious...are those of you who have submitted the registration form received the e-mail with instructions on where to send your rally fees? - LJZ

RE: pleasureway "pursuit"

It looks a lot like the 22 foot "Built for Two" Born Free that we used to have. It will be interesting to see the interior and if it has a dry bath!!! See the shower in my previous post: Pleasure-Way Pursuit Shower "At eighty-one inches tall and forty-one inches wide this beautiful corner shower has plenty of room. High gloss Corian, radius glass shower enclosure and a crystal clear skylight creates a rich and opulent shower never seen in a Pleasure-Way before." It's a Class C, which explains the opulent shower never seen in a Pleasure-Way before. :E :E :E :E :E :E :E :E :E :E :E :E :E :E :E :E :E :E Wonder why they didn't choose the Sprinter chassis for their entry into the Class C market? - LJZ

RE: Cold Water Surges While Running Hot Water -- Brrrr!

All I know (and want to know) about the 3 valves is that I turn all 3 in the opposite direction when winterizing and again when de-winterizing. If I try to think about what the valves are actually doing my head starts to hurt. Just wondering, though...will the flame turn on for the hot water heater if the tank which holds the water intended to be heated is empty (i.e., has been emptied and bypassed)? I might've asked this before, but can't remember the answer. It seems like a potentially hazardous situation. - LJZ

RE: Cold Water Surges While Running Hot Water -- Brrrr!

While testing the hot water heater, we find that we're getting large surges of cold water every time pump cycles off. This is confusing. If the hot water heater was bypassed, you shouldn't have been getting any hot water at all. Your post made it seem as if you were getting hot water with surges of cold water. I guess it doesn't matter at this point, since the problem seems to have been solved...but were you getting hot water with the hot water heater bypassed? I just really hate being confused. Best of luck with your "new to you" Pleasure-Way. - LJZ 2002/2003 Pleasure-Way Excel-TS

Found on Craig's List: 2009 Ford Majestic Camper Van The OP might want to call the seller for information about the unit. - LJZ

RE: B1 Berea Photo needed

I am trying to collect hat photos of the bees. I would appreciate it if anyone who has photos from B1 at Berea, Kentucky when we had to wear hats for Derby Day would post them. When I tell people about our horse race and Derby day hats they don't believe me.Marty Fulton is collecting pictures of Jack for a collage at his memorial service.:h

RE: 2013 PW excel TS

Nick's suggestion is an excellent one. If you aren't able to travel around in order to test drive more than one or two Excels to find one that doesn't have any handling problems, try and get the dealer and/or Pleasure-Way to commit to rectifying the problem before purchase. I've been fortunate in that I've never had any handling problems with my 2002/2003 Excel-TS. It would be a shame for you to compromise on a different unit if the Excel is the one which suits you to a tee. I'm going to assume that you know that Pleasure-Way offers a model on the Chevy platform (Lexor - http://pleasureway.com/lexor.php)? - LJZ

Yes, Rodger really helped us out a lot, and was instrumental in getting us a ton of "booty" for the first several rallies. - LJZ

This is off topic, but related to the topic. Has anyone started a topic for the B12? I still do not own a "B", but do like to follow how much fun you all have been having. God works in mysterious ways. Gene...you REALLY are an angel! Hugs? - LJZ

RE: New Class B Models

The LTV looks to be a pretty amazing little unit. Great bathroom. Wow. I'm curious to see the interior with the slide-out in the un-slid-out position. There must be some reason why they never show it that way from the inside. Funny that Dean claims it's a walk-around bed...ain't no way anybody's going to be walking around that bed when it's open. The unit becomes almost completely non-functional when the bed is down...too bad. - LJZ

New Pleasure-Way Shower - Must See

Pleasure-Way has either an entirely new model or a major redesign coming in September, and they've been slowly adding features to their web site. The following image was added a few days ago: http://www.websitelabels.com/images/RVnet/pwshower.jpg The text beside the image reads: "At eighty-one inches tall and forty-one inches wide this beautiful corner shower has plenty of room. High gloss Corian, radius glass shower enclosure and a crystal clear skylight creates a rich and opulent shower never seen in a Pleasure-Way before." I'm not sure if the features shown on the preview page are for a Class B van conversion, but if they've put that shower into a B it's going to be pretty amazing. Does anyone have any more details about the product Pleasure-Way is referencing on that web page (http://pleasureway.com/comingsoon.php)? - LJZ

RE: B1 Berea Photo needed

Good memories. We were all drinkin' whiskey, too...even more unbelievable. Unfortunately, that was about 3 computers ago. I might be able to find the pictures if I try, but it's doubtful (I think the only place I had them stored was on my .mac account which is now defunct). - LJZ
