RE: How to add a washer to hitch head

I do need to add the washer regardless to adjust the setting but was also wondering if it would help with the sticking issue. I have greased it and it did not help.

F150 Ecoboost front bumper bike rack

Hi All, Can anyone give me some advice about installing a front bumper bike rack on my 2012 f150 ecoboost truck. I have found a receiver that will mount on the front of the truck, however my concern is having bikes on the front of the air intake. Will this cause problems? I called my local dealer and the didnt think it would, but they were not certain. I cant install a rack on the back of my trailer and I have a canopy on the back of the truck. My mastiff's crate takes up most of the bed and so I dont have the room to put our bike back there. I am not very tall so putting them on the top of the truck would be too difficult. The other options would be to not bring the bikes or invest in some folding bikes. Any info you guys have would be great. Thanks

RE: Now the fun starts..... right???

We purchased an Evergreen travel trailer this year and could not be more pleased with it. We were like you looking at all the brands with similar results. The evergreen was hands down the best quality for the $$$. They have no wood in their construction. The materials such as cabinets are of household quality, porcelain toilet, very durable flooring and coverings.

RE: Love my eco boost

ours is a black 2012 screw max tow pkg short box 3.73 rear end chrome pkg, back up camera, larger wheel pkg and a leer canopy. our TT is a 2012 Evergreen IGO its just over 27 feet bumper to pin. loaded weight about 6500lbs. We picked this truck as its my DH daily driver and we will only tow with it 5 times a year. So the gas consumption for every day use is just great. Gas consumption while towing would be the same as a V8. We saw some full timer folks with the same truck with the Max payload pkg pulling a 5er and they said they were very happy with it too. The only thing I dont like are the tires, but I can change that no problem.

Love my eco boost

Well our family went on our first long(er) distance trip with our new rig. We drove from Victoria to Campbell River bc approx 270 kms one way. About 45 kms of the drive is very steep and windy mountain driving. The truck drove like nothing was back there. Had to play with the break controller a bit. The rest of the drive has some long hills but fairly strait over all. Once on the straight way I had to keep her at max 90 kms as I could really feel the wind blowing the trailer a bit. No sway at all just the trailer moving from the drag i guess. I am so glad we purchased this truck and just cant say enough good things about it.

RE: Has this ever happened to you?

Thinking about it now. Better to hit the fan in the bathroom instead of the one over the bed. That would be a nasty way to wake up lol

Has this ever happened to you?

This morning I walked into the washroom of our trailer. I noticed brown spots over everything and I mean every thing. On the wall, the floor, the ceiling.:h My first reaction of course is to blame my husband for the mess.:M he walks in to look and his reaction is to blame our 7 year old. 7 year old says it wasn't him. I still don't know what it is. I go to get something to clean it up, start cleaning and then I realalize what it is. BIRD SH! t. The fan was running and i guess some stupid bird thought it would be funny to take one right there. Now i know what it means when SH! T hits the fan.:E

RE: Some people?

Ok I couldn't stand to watch. I just went over there and tried talking with him. I said you need a pin in the coupler. He showed me his tool box and I found one in there. I showed him how and why he needed one. So I walked back to my sight sat down and just then he pulles out and rips the antenna of his trailer. Lol

RE: Some people?

I don't suppose anybody thought of telling the poor guy about the potential disaster he was risking? Yes some people did. But he does not speak good English. He is philippeno. They are packing up and getting ready to go. I can see some people watching him now.

RE: Some people?

When I see a show about to begin such as the one that OP saw, I tell DH to make the popcorn. THEN he can go over to help them while I sit and watch. That's too funny:)

Some people?

We are staying at a large busy rv resort this week. Lots of rigs coming and going. I can't believe some of the crazy things I have seen this week. Last night a Cadillac escalade with those tacky Crome Gangster style spinning wheels pulling a 20 plus footer :Cas he pulls by our camp I noticed his hitch ( and I'm not kidding here) is 3 friggin inches off the ground and no pin in the coupler:E we watched him try and back into his spot for a half hour while his wife wearing 6 inch heels was freaking out. Finally someone had to back it in for him. :)

ford f150 ecoboost tires

Our truck came with pirelli scorpion tires on it. Just wondering if anyone here have the same tires and your thoughts on them. I have heard they are not great in the snow. We dont get lots of snow where we live but some winters we get a foot or so for a few weeks.

RE: Black tank will not dump and I'm at a site for 3 days!

Just wondering if this would be a good idea or not. I buy this product from the wine making store to clean carboys and wine bottles. I used it on a 100 year our carboy with serious crud in it. 24 hours later the carboy sparkled. It is a pink powder and very powerful. It is also a disinfectant.

RE: need sum advice

I just turn on the fridge and put all food in a cooler with ice on our way. After a few hours when fridge is cold put food in the fridge then fill cooler with beer. Put cooler with beer outside so beer is handy and easily available.

RE: PRO PRIDE HITCHES

I do have the true eq brand. The owners manual and instructions say that it must be adjusted for every trip.

PRO PRIDE HITCHES

I have been doing some reading about the Propride Hitch. Just wondering how difficult it is to install. Also does it need to be adjusted to each trip like my EQ hitch. If so how difficult is it? Thanks
