Sounds like a great journey - good no-nonsense camper too.
I met that couple at the EXPO. Ron and Viv Moon. They tow a Track? trailer behind them. Apparently he is a well known 4x4 writer in Australia.
His traveling partners Neil and Helen Cocks have an XP Camper, which is mounted on a RHD Ford F250.
Those guys went around the world in 3 years! Pretty awesome.
Damn - I was contemplating getting to Expo this year, but couldn't make it because of work commitments - on the plan for next year though.
Yes, I notice they have a T-Van trailer in some of their pictures. I met up with one of my work colleagues in Sydney in January (same time as I met up with Robert Ryan for a pint :)) - very nice trailer - he tows his behind a Land Cruiser.
I do like those offroad camping trailers - I was admiring some very nice off-road equipment recently in South Africa - on close inspection this was very strongly built and cleverly thought out:

But in my cold / wet climate I think I'll be sticking to a hardside TC.
Steve.
Yes, that's the one. Very cool trailer. Had a great pull out kitchen. Not to use full in bad weather though.
