RE: What did you do to your Class A MH today???

Learned how to disassemble the coach steps in order to access the stuck motor. Then searched this forum for the correct part and went to the store to buy it. Gotta love saving $100 and increasing the warranty from 1 yr to lifetime.
Thanks forum!

RE: Newmar 3920 toy hauler and Outlaw Class A...help Please

The hitch on mine is only rated to 5K.
I've never had issues towing our civic on a dolly. But I don't have much experience in the mountains.

RE: Motorhome Toy Hauler

My toyhauler is also a class a. But I do not have a bedroom in the garage. We have a full queen bed in it's own room with full height ceiling. Although the garage does have queen bunks in it. I liked the outlaw/ bounty hunter design as well, thought it had a bigger living room, but the dw wasn't fond of the loft bedroom.

Woke up to a dead battery. I guess the furnace running all night, plus the 29 degrees temp were not kind to battery life.

RE: Need help identifying

I think the toggle is to signal the stewardess to bring up another drink, hence the bottle opener conveniently located right next to if.

RE: driveability Class A vs Fifth wheel

With a truck and 5er, your co-pilot can't walk back to the fridge and fix you a snack, use the restroom, watch TV, take a nap in real bed...

RE: stoneguards and overheating

Shouldn't the center if the radiator be the coolest? Its where the fan is making the biggest impact.

RE: Stink Bug Eradication

It's been experience they all die when vacuumed. Downside is the vacuum emits the stink. So when they get bad here, the one small shop vac is dedicated to eradication.
I'm jealous if you don't know what a stink by is.
Other than the sink, them seem to enjoy buzzing you.. they have no respect for personal space, especially when reading with a small light.

RE: So this guy pulls with a car(?) on his back.

There are a few on the tow vehicle forum on here. Occasional I like to page through all those pics. My favorite is when they have a jeep wrangler instead of the smart car, with the wrangler in line instead of perpendicular. They are on my sort list for the next one.

RE: tuners for v10 engine for motorhome

Interesting conversation.
The single most annoying thing when driving in cruise control is the constant downshifting when coming to the slightest rise - like a flat highway crossing over an overpass. If a tune significantly reduces that, I think I need one.

RE: Parking My RV in the Side Yard

running start wasn't to say I'd hit 50 mph going up the yard
Too bad, I'm sure that would have made a nice addition to you tube. :)
Also, with the RV parked there it really won't seem like a second driveway.

RE: Coach levelled but unsteady

I would also suggest the ground you are parked could be allowing the jacks to sink in a bit, allowing the coach to sit more on the suspension, which in turn allows for more sway. If the say seems more significant a day later, I try to extend the jacks some to reduce the sway. Seems to help.
Of course, if you're parking on concrete, this wouldn't apply.

RE: Kountry Star Sliding Door adjustments

Great info here. My current "adjustment" is a giant wedge door stop to prevent it opening when going around corners. Added this to my to-do lost. Thanks.

RE: Are super centers worth the trip?

I'd like to offer a third option to the OP. The RV show at Hershey is coming up soon. It's where I bought mine. It can't be too far from you.
And I think if you went there with the best price you've received already, they'd beat it.
My only issue with it was I had to wait a couple months to pick up my RV. Conversely, I was able to customize a few options. But your model may be in stock.

RE: Extra Propane Bottles

How about using the same location, but getting larger tanks? Go with dual 30's instead of 20's (or whatever is a step up from current size)
