RE: Regency class C MH

We have an older Triple E Regency 27 foot C. Ours is a 1989, we have had it for 5 years and love it. I think the fridge was replaced by previous owners. No real issues for us. Just a few things due to age. I have had to reattached the oak moulding on many of the overhead cupboards. The glue had dried out. a dab of glue and it is as good as new. We need to replace several of the roller blinds, but again after 20+ years not a manufacturing issue. I would buy another one if we needed it, but for now Mobi meets our needs. Glad to hear that!

RE: Regency class C MH

Paoli...are you at Haynes Point? or is it even open? Gad, I so love the southern Okanagan. Gary Haupt That's a hard place to get in without a reservation. It was totally packed and there are RV's at the overflow, which is also at the lake shore. We managed to get in last year september. This year with the great weather right now we could not get in unless we stayed at the overflow. We have been staying at Apple Beach at Tuc-El-Nuit lake in Oliver. This is the former "Sunny Beach RV Resort". The new owners gave it a different name. They have pull throughs, which is handy for us because we pull a utility trailer with a motorcycle. Weekly rate is 20 dollars (includes internet, sewer, water and power) We left this morning after staying there for 8 days. Great place! Right now we are at the Merritt Walmart and will go home tomorrow. We have a home at Lac La Hache and an apartment in Quesnel. We have spend a lot of time in our Triple E this season. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8314/8007912891_6dccf5a27c.jpg

RE: What to do/see around Prince Rupert?

There is a Walmart in Williams Lake on the other side of the lake. Gary, staying overnight at the Williams Lake info centre is not allowed. Also: Prince George and Quesnel both have Walmarts Free sewer dumping in Quesnel at the Fraser Bridge. (Downtown side of the bridge). Awesome provincial campsite north of Lac La Hache BC on the east side of the Highway 97 right across from Crystal Springs RV Park. Provincial campgrounds in BC are half price for seniors in september.

RE: Regency class C MH

We own a 2010 27ft Grand Touring with one slide out. We put over 16.000 km on it this summer. The only problem we had was minor, two drawers would come out if we drove through a curve in the road. We went across Canada and back, while in Manitoba we stopped at the factory and they fixed it right away. We were gone in 2 hours. Spend close to 90 days in it this season without any problems. I think Triple E makes one of the best products on the market. We are still on the road, staying in Oliver BC right now--- 30C Awesome weather!

RE: Pulling Jeep Unlimited

Reason I'm asking, we own a manual transmission Jeep Unlimited (4 door) but are considering buying a new one with automatic transmission..... I just want to make sure we can tow it. I can't check the manual because we did not buy one yet. Yes, it's "Wrangler". We are not talking Grand Cherokee. The Wranglers, manual or automatic, are about the easiest vehicles to tow. You can download the Owner Manual and User Guide free of charge HERE Just ignore any part of either publication that says you must leave the ignition key in the ACC position and disconnect the battery. When I'm setup for towing, my ignition is OFF with the key in my pocket, and the battery stays connected. Thanks!!

I have the 2011 but they are towable if you do a search you can review the instruction manual online but the process is simple. I am trying to get mine set up now between other repairs on the RV and paying for the soon to be here baby. Tx. :-)

RE: Pulling Jeep Unlimited

We have a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with an automatic. It is towable 4 wheels down. All current Jeeps Wranglers are since they all have the manual 4wd transfer case. This goes back a few years, but I am not sure how long. The current ones also do not need the key in since the steering wheel does not lock. I think this goes back to 2010 or earlier. The manuals have not been updated. But the user guide has been updated. Also, the manuals and user guide can be found online on the Jeep web site somewhere. David Thanks David for your help.

RE: Pulling Jeep Unlimited

Always read the owners manual for the correct information. Yes, I realize that. But we don't have the vehicle and of course we don't have a manual. That's why I was asking for information here.....

RE: So Where's my former Triple E, Senator 28XL motorhome?

Nice to see that there are other Triple E owners out there, especially the Regency. We have the smaller version, the Regency GT24MB which we love.!! Great company with an awesome RV!!! Triple E Grand Touring here.

Pulling Jeep Unlimited

I am wondering about pulling a Jeep Unlimited with an automatic transmission? Would that cause a problem?

RE: Dumping Tanks

Ok, it's a 3" hose. I said it was a guess. Anyway, we're liking the looks of the Leisure Vans 24MB. But the hose on the video looks a lot smaller than all of the vids on youtube(blackwater tank dumping). They all show 3" hoses which would be easy for solids to flow through. Shrink that down to 1-1/2" and I see why the macerator is necessary. I was wondering if you can change to a 3" hose? Of course, I haven't seen the actual setup, so I don't know where the macerator is. I assume it's just off tank. So, is there a 3" opening that leads to the macerator and that's why they show a smaller hose ?(post macerator) Maybe that makes the question clear? It's no big deal, I can always wait til the next RV show. Thanks again Thanks for the heads up about the moderator notification. On some forums there is just a "delete post" option". As I said before...YES...you can remove the macerator and hook up the bigger hose. Ours is a Triple E, they make Leisure Vans. If you have more questions, contact Triple E , they have a Facebook on the go and are very helpful!

RE: Dumping Tanks

So, I've been looking at videos showing how to dump the tanks. They all show 2"(that's a guess) hoses. problem is, B+ conversions all seem to have 1-1/4 or 1-1/2" hoses. Does this create a flow problem? I've read around here that the macerators have a high failure rate. Can you switch to the larger hose? Is there a clear elbow available for the smaller hose? As usual, thanks in advance for the answers. We have a macerator on our Triple E. I have used it a lot this summer as we did a cross Canada tour from coast to coast and back. I never experienced any problems with this system, but find it a takes a bit longer to dump . Our unit has an attachment to use the regular hose if we wanted. But I have no need for it so far. I think it's important to flush the black tank. The indicators work better that way.
