RE: A Quick Tennessee Question

We have been to Memphis several times and really enjoyed the trips there. We stayed at Tom Sawyer (great sites right on the river) and the Agricultural Center campground and never felt threatened or uneasy about anything. Enjoyed Graceland and Beale Street.

RE: Branson, Missouri

Good luck in Oct with no reservation. That is a very busy time of the year because of the fall colors in the mountains. I second Turkey Creek. Have been there many times.

RE: Dually vs single wheel

If you don't want a dually, but want absolute stability, get a "Hensley Arrow" hitch for your travel trailer. I had one on the last 2 travel trailers I had before going to 5th wheels and it was awsome. I can honestly say that a trailer with a Hensley Arrow hitch is just as solid and stable as any 5th wheel when towing. I went to a 5th wheel when we retired and started full-timing. If I ever go back to a travel trailer, it will have a Hensley on it.

RE: Ft. Wilderness Question

Pets are definitely allowed at Fort Wilderness and as a matter of fact, there probably are more pet loops now than non-pet loops. And yes, they have a great pet park which is well kept and clean. Have been there many times and our dog loves the place.

RE: Finding level & big enough sites for 43' class A

DsBr - What are you doing up at midnite worrying about big rig sites. Come see us at Tropical Palms and you won't have any problems.
