Honolulu, Hawaii
The DW and I are going to Hawaii for the first time. I want to see the USS Arizonia Mem. but when I look on line for tours I see several and the prices range from $75 to $200. BUT, on the Nationial Parks web site the price is under $10.00. Has anyone been there and gone to the Memorial? Can you tell me how to go about getting to go and pay my respects to the Heros that lay under the water still on the ship?
Thanks all
RE: Will a 3500 watt generator run my air conditioner
There is also a "Hard Start Capacitor" that is placed in the starting circuit of the compressor on the AC. This gives a little extra kick to start the compressor and will make life much easier on your gen. They have them at Amazon.com, and it takes about 20 mins to install, 5 mins to get on roof, 4 1/2 mins to take cover off Ac, 30 secs to install, 5 mins to replace cover, 5 mins to get off roof. Unless you are like me, and have to spend another 10 mins. % mins to get on the roof to get screwdriver I left up there, 5 mins to get down.
RE: replacement furniture
As stated measure carefully, but I have replaced the loveseat that was in my TT with 2 recliners and then with a couch. You can change colors and styles and save money by using household items instead of things bought at Camping World.
RE: Honda EU2000i Generator an 13.5k Btu AC
I installed a Hard Start Capacitor ($15 to $45 on Amazon) and my small gen will start it with almost no drop in voltage to the TT. I installed it in about 20 mins, and most of that was taking the cover off the A/C unit.
RE: Battery security
I took a metal strap from Home Depot, the one that is about 1" wide with holes all down the middle. I then drilled a hwle in the bottom of the battery box and the tongue frame. I put a bolt through the hole of the battery box throught the frame and into one of the holes on the strap and tightened it. I bent the strap up around the box and overlaped the ends so I could put a padlock through it. This sounds complicated but it was easy and took about 10 mins and cost about $5.00 for the strap, bolt and lock. I know my battery won't walk away, AGAIN!
