RE: Starcraft HTT newbie

We have a 2012 Starcraft 207rb. Pretty much the same layout as the 229 but with two beds. We loved the conversation area. We call it the "family room". We are very pleased with our Starcraft. I bought a hanging shelf from Camping World. It has three shelves and fit the width of the wardrobe under the tv really well. Otherwise, I just hung a couple command strip hooks. We are very happy with it.

RE: HTT for family of 5 - Starcraft 229TB, or Shamrock/Roo 233S?

We currently have the 2012 starcraft 207rb. We love it but see ourselves moving to a triple bed. We have compared the two brands often. We like the space of the slide but it does not outweigh the cons. The Rockwood 233s puts the TV over the sink so there is no cupboard space above the sink. I also do not believe there is a single drawer in the camper. The starcraft has tons of storage, a lot more counter space and two wardrobes. So, yes the space is nice, but I would rather have my gear put away and organized. We would choose the Starcraft 229 if we upgraded right now. My only downfall is the bench couch and maybe no slide. Just thinks I have noticed. Good luck.

Closing up for wintet

Unfortunately we are on our last trip of the season. When winterizing, do you leave all your tanks empty? We already know to pump antifreeze through the lines but what do we do with our tanks? Any advice on mice prevention? Thanks.

RE: Hybrid Beds (Foam Toppers)

We just put a 1 1/2 inch topper on our ends. We can still fold the mattress with it on.

RE: AC power

Ahh. Not what I wanted to hear. Do we have any options? Here's the thing...we did it last year and everything was fine. This was before we were told we shouldn't. What would happen?

AC power

Help! We are taking our camper to my sister's. We will be plugging into her house. Is it any problem running our AC? Our dealer said we shouldn't.
