RE: Mexican dental service - where?

I was quoted a price of $22K for a procedure that Clear Choice Dental calls the "4 in one" which is 4 implants that support a full set of teeth for the upper jaw. Has anyone had a similar procedure south of the border? What was the cost and results? I need some new teeth, but $22K is a bit expensive for me.

Click the link posted above. All prices are listed for that procedure.

RE: HELP! AT&T Cellular kicking us out!

As far as cellphone goes, you can pick up a prepaid cellphone at Walmart, Kmart or any number of places. No contract, no roaming and uses ATT towers. I dropped ATT over a year ago after about 15 years. NET10 does everything I did with my ATT which is to make and receive calls anywhere in the US.
For internet I have Satellite but there are many other options. I have saved several hundred dollars last year using NET10 instead of ATT contract BS.

Good post, great price for that rack. Too bad I don't need one as I already have a Thule Expressway.

Understand that the re-installation will take several hours. After you install the original software, windows will need to be updated with all updates and service packs.

RE: Engine surges and dies

Your 454 probably has a carburetor. I once had similar issues which was caused by a failing gasket on the carburetor. Under load it was sucking in air and causing problems. A mechanic used some type of spray around the base of the carburetor to identify the problem.

RE: Best Florida RV Park With Bike Trails?

There are several parks with easy access to the West Orange Trail that runs between Clermont FL and Apopka Fl. The trail is about 50 miles end to end and paved. There are a number of trailheads with parking and facilities as well as several towns. Horseman's Park, (County)in Apopka and Sun Resort, are right on the trail. There are other paved trails in the area as well that are long enough for a good ride. If you decide to come down this way and would like company on a ride or two, let me know. We will be there after November 20th.

RE: Washington DC Trip

Greenbelt NP is quiet, beautiful, no hookups, 2-3 miles from Metro. You MUST have a Metro Smart trip card to get out of the parking lot...no cash or credit card accepted. Check their website for details and if you are a senior, discounts. The senior discount card may be purchased at the Giant Supermarket between Greenbelt and the Metro station.

RE: New slide seal

The slide seal is sold by the foot and there are different types so, different prices. It is not a very difficult job to do yourself. We ordered the correct type from the mfg of our Excel. My wife replaced the seal on our living room slide a couple of years ago. If you have it done at a dealer it will certainly cost less as my wife doesn't work cheap.

RE: A Cell Phone Revolution has begun

Bucky, check NET10
LG300 Reconditioned with 600 minutes, 300 when you activate the phone plus an additional 300 minute card which can be used on ANY NET10 phone. There are 2 discount codes available one for $3 and one for $5 which reduces the price to $22 plus tax, shipping is free.
I have purchased several reconditioned and they have all been perfect.
Do a google search for NET10 discount codes. Let me know if you can't find them.

RE: A Cell Phone Revolution has begun

Well FWIW I have been using NET10 for about a year. I pay 4 cents per minute. Works everywhere ATT/Verizon etc works because they use their towers. I buy online and get 600 minutes and a new refurbished phone with a 1 year warranty for $22.50. Each time I buy a package, I get a new refurbished phone and 600 minutes. I have several phones now but only use two. One for my wife and one for me. If I have friends visit from another country, I can activate another phone and let them use it until they leave, then I can use the remaining minutes on that phone. Every time I add minutes to a phone it extends the expiration date by 60 days. Our primary phone number, the one I have had with ATT for about 15 years currently expires in June 2010. As I will be adding time before that date, that number will not expire. The secondary phones numbers are of no importance to me as I use them primarily for outgoing calls and when the minutes are used up, I just activate a new phone, I activate it and there is NO activation charge. ATT charged me $35.00 plus tax to reactivate my phone after it was put on vacation when I was not using it for several months....never again!
FOUR CENTS per minute, SIX CENTS to Canada. All of this as long as NET10 continues that program. No more contract phones for me.
This is all provided by the 4th largest cellphone company in the world.

RE: A Cell Phone Revolution has begun

Hi all,
Can the phones be tethered to a laptop for web access? (without additional charges).
i'm sure that would require hacking the phone settings
also NO internet at all in the $30 plan, 30mb limited internet in the $45 plan so IF you it working with a hackm might be enough for checking email once day, NO surfing NO youtube, i can do 30 mb just spending the day on these forums following different links or viewing the pictures posted in these threads.
the minutes of use on the $45 'MIGHT' allow using a slow dial up number ISP, depends on data connection settings and the Virtual Carrier agreement with VZW.
Virtual Carriers, Rent the use of a major carriers system, and re-sell that use to their customers.
MrWizard please read this.
The plans offer cell phone service at a major discount to existing mobile calling packages. To wit: the $30 monthly plan includes 1,000 minutes, 1,000 texts, 30MB of mobile Web access, and nationwide coverage. The $45 monthly plan includes unlimited minutes, texts, mobile Web access, and nationwide coverage."

RE: A Cell Phone Revolution has begun

$30 (1000 minutes, 1000 text and/or multimedia messages plus 30MB of data). 30MB of data delivers about 300 web pages. You can cancel at any time without penalty, or switch plans when you choose.
PLUS, the tax is only state sales tax, not the 20% or so that ATT etc levy. 411 calls are no extra charge.....try that with ATT etc.

RE: A Cell Phone Revolution has begun

I personally say Hooray. I have been using NET10 no contract no BS for about a year. What a plus after having contracts for more than 15 years from ATT/Cingular, I no longer deal with their unreasonable charges and policies. Walmart's program is with Tracfone (NET10).
I am already saving several hundred dollars a year and will revue WM's new program to see if it is better than what I already have.
