RE: Can I tow ANYTHING with a 3500 lb hitch limit?
Yeah, I dont know how mine is listed as light as it says, but it does have a tag on the side that says unloaded weight of 1955 pounds. Obviously, its without the propane tank filled, or water tank filled, but everything I see on them online say around the 2025 you listed. Either way, its a great towing TT. Came with a 10 foot awning, heat and a/c, microwave, two burner stove, fridge, sink, and the full shower. It didnt come with a tv or radio installed, but I added that with hardly no cost compared to what the dealer wanted to do the same. It's a 2011 model, and I got them to supply and install the hitch and ball work, along with the wd/sway control, electric brake controller, and wire it all up for $8000.00 The only part of the towing hardware I bought was the hitch receiver, which I found cheaper than they could supply, and installed it myself.

Thanks Road Ruler. We just came back from a 425 mile trip to the mountains with the Nomad. Pulled like a dream. The electric brakes worked really well in the mountains to, I might add. The only thing I did to the MDX other than the towing hardware was put a good trans cooler on it.

We to are limited with a 3500 tow rating with a 2002 Acura MDX. We bought a Skyline Nomad 140, which ours says on the side that it's 1955 pounds dry. We have absolutely no problems towing at all with it. I put on a Reese class 3, with the Reese Mini Lite WD/Sway control bars. Here's a link to the TT.
