RE: Wishing no one a good Memorial Day, it's not possible.

Thank you, but memorial day isn't about us veterans...it's about our friends and brothers who didn't make it back. Thank you for remembering them. Amen , thank you for remembering our fallen brothers USMC 1985-89

RE: 1972 Amerigo Camper Rebuild

Hey, Sweet Tater. Good to hear from you. My work schedule has kind of messed me up on working on mine. I'm torn between fixing it and junking it. I bought a Lance TC from a guy I know and am thinking of giving up on this one. I don't really have a place to work on it nor the time. But if I thought I could get $7K out of it finished, I might try to make it work. If I do fix it, I want it to be something that I can be proud of. I already have the custom tanks to go in it and most of the framing done. I guess I won't give up on it yet, I really love the looks of it. Carey It is a sweet looking camper, I love it, but with my hip and work it was just too much.

RE: 1972 Amerigo Camper Rebuild

I give up, Between work and a hip replacement that still aint right, mine has got to disappear, all original windows are still great shape, including the front, door works but needs a lil work, and the snap n nap has broken welds and the main hinge is seized. Plus I have a good Fantastic that I bought for it. Hate to do it but its to much when I cant be on my feet long enough.

Those look great! We are going to gatlinburg an Chattanooga. How far from you is that? I got work done today! Took water heater out and found rotted wood under it and where tie down anchor is. Knocked it all out, evicted the ants, and replaced the wood. New tie down eye bolt, reseal water heater and reinstalled. Got furnace mounted, just needs gas line plumbed and outside vent attached. And got toilet removed too. I'm a bit behind on taking pics but here's some more... http://i1021.photobucket.com/albums/af338/bigblue12v/7DA75827-E733-490A-A68C-3B2484D4AD11-4220-000004BD8CC9732C_zps137cb6f9.jpg http://i1021.photobucket.com/albums/af338/bigblue12v/B5D1F68E-7399-4779-B8CC-05966185D1B7-4220-000004BD85372258_zps53202fd9.jpg http://i1021.photobucket.com/albums/af338/bigblue12v/A5904AA2-3F0A-45E6-AA65-E42FDDACA6D2-4220-000004BD99C02F3E_zps9cea3db3.jpg about hours west of Chat on hwy 72

The folding sides are in great shape, theres one small crack on the inside of one but does not go all the way through and looks like it would be easy to repair. https://scontent-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn2/1392859_243237089159339_247068430_n.jpg height=640 https://scontent-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/1383486_243237099159338_1908198880_n.jpg height=640 Small crack at finger tip https://scontent-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn2/1383217_243237092492672_1865322465_n.jpg height=640 What part of Tn are you coming to?
