RE: Looking at buying a used Hensley Arrow...questions

Yes you can order the 1400 bars from Hensley. Does not matter if you bought it new from them or not. and nothing else is need to change from the 1000 to the 1400 bars. I did. I still have the 1000 bars should I ever downsize the TT.

RE: Maryland vehicle inspection for used RV bought at LazyDays?

Beckleys does do inspections, but I would also look at Light TrucK service, They have several locations, One in Frederick and another in Rockville off of Gude drive.
I think also Donald Be Rice Tire does inspections

Crutchfield, Will send all installation items for free with instructions. Just replaced several radios and they have a Nice Alpine in the 120 to 150 range. CD MP3 Ipod and usb. Being that I worked installing aftermartket electronics in Vehicles for more than 10 years. Alpine Units have never let me down.

Bunk roon sleeps 4 or 5. Has counch and solid door. Bathroom is like most 5th wheels, Side isile and you don't have to walk thru it. It also has a pull out bike rack in the back . RE: Used tv, what's too much mileage?

Keep what you have or Go Older and take your time and you can find a good used low milage TV. Example Mine Bought 2 years ago a 93 Garage Kept Suburban with 59K miles on it. They are out there if you look good.

RE: new keystone cougar xlite

I have Friends that are on their third Cougar, Never a Problem. I looked at them and almost bought one but the Montana had the layout I wanted. I may down size a little next year and the Cougar front kitchen looks good. I have looked them over closely on my dealers lot. They are equipped well and all looked good. I really like the reduced weight on there Xlites, I can't tell where they cut the weight from their older models.

Yes they were Tow ratings not GCWR's. The GCWRs listed by Blt2ski were correct. Sorry for the error.

RE: Towing with older 454 crewcab one ton???

My TV is a 93 454 TBI with 4:10 Rear, Im towing near max weight of 10,000lbs.
I have had no isses pulling this weight so Far, It has a tight power band. I have a towing chip from Brian at TBI chips. It did wonders for the power.
Easy Truck to add power if you need it. Gear Vendors work well with this combination also
from 92 Truck Guide
GCWR with 4:10 is 10,000lbs
GCWR with 3:73 is 8,500 lbs

RE: Keystone Bullet First Trip -- NOT Good

My Keystone has never leaked at the slides. It is in use more than 90 days a season and the slides are usually out when parked at home. I believe slide toppers help with keeping it leak free. Thats why I would not have a side trailer without toppers. As a matter of fact I had to add toppers to this one because they were not on it when the dealer got it.

RE: replace 4L80 E with Turbo400/gearvenders

Just add the Gearvendors to the 4L80 e. The Turbo 400 does not have a lockup converter and wil run hot in any regular gear. You can add a lockup to the 400 but the 4l80 is just a stout as the 400 turbo and will have all the electronics to keep the pcm happy.

RE: Paying in annual insurance premiums for your Class C?

State Farm is a seperate Company in Florida. So trying to compare Florida numbers with State Farm for other states the Florida rate will be higher based on the Higher Loss Risk.

RE: Need 78 Gallon gas tank for 1990 454 P30 Chassis.

Try POR15 Gas Tank Sealer. It will fix holes and coat the entire inside of the tank. Rust will be stopped and covered. I used this to fix a busted seam in a 1973 Chevy wagon Tank. No shop could fix it. I gave it a try. It works. The tank never leaked again. You can also coat the outside of the tank with one of their paints. Rust problem Solved.

Never needed dealer service, but did need to get a window shade replaced under warrenty, Dealer Ordered it, I installed it. Keystone was very good about the Tire Recall and helped get everthing setup to get them replaced, all 5. So Far mine has been as good as my Old Sunline so far. Also mine is in use 90 plus days a season from April to Nov.
