RE: your opinion on appliance age

Our 95 TT has all original everything except the AC, our 99 TT has all original everything and all systems on both units work as they should. I have seen new units with defective appliances. Its the luck of the draw imo.

RE: Have you switched from friction sway control to HA or P#?

The Hensley is light years ahead of any friction sway hitch period!!! I have towed 20,000 plus miles and the bump although possible if you have little to no trailer brakes has never happened to me. Anyone who would avoid this hitch for any reason including price MAY have their priorities wrong. You have thousands in your TT and thousands in your TV, now what is your safety worth? I would recommend the HA to everyone and IMO it should be standard equipment on all new TT's.

RE: F350 towing cap

I think your gcwr is only 18500 so the trailer itself is that much. You will be over weight by around 8k if you have the crew cab drw 4x4.

RE: Note to Self

Note to self, always check the drawers in the bottom of the fridge when you get home and unhook. Deer meat will stink after a couple weeks and it takes a while to get the smell out. Lol

RE: I need help to identify a 1995 newmar 5er model

Dang! Those PDF's won't let me cut-and-paste an image, either. Looks like you're gonna have to get you to a computer to see them! Which model '95 Newmar fiver is it?I am not sure, it is 40' long with one large slide, rear bedroom has two bunks and a bath, front master bedroom has a bath room and a washer dryer hookup. But I am not sure of the exact floorplan. Thats what I want to see is the layout before driving a good ways to see it. The people getting rid of it are very old and cant send pics. Thanks, Will

I need help to identify a 1995 newmar 5er model

I am going to look at a 95 newmar it has a queen bedroom up front, one 13' slide in living area and bunks with another bath in back. It is suppose to be 40' long. I would like to see the floor plan before going to look. Any ideas? Thanks, Will

RE: route to south Lake Tahoe

You have to go across the ponderosa, but I am sure the cartwrights will point you in the right direction. If you look at the map on TV north really is not north. Lol. Sorry have not been on the forum in a while and am a little silly tonight. Will

RE: What do yo know about an 09 6.4 Ford Diesel?

I have an 08 6.4, when things break it will cost an arm and a leg. Mine is not stock so some of the weak points are gone (in the barn) lol. Mpg stock is bad but I get 14.2 towing my 8500lb TT and my golf cart in the bed. I get 18mpg arond town empty and have seen 21 mpg hwy. All hand calculated. I am on my 2nd radiator and many more parts replaced under warranty, the last time at 59K it had $5000 in warranty work done. at 60K I made some aftermarket changes and have not had anymore probs I am now at 83K miles.
