Tempermental Furnace SOLVED - NOT QUITE

Suburban furnace says not to baffle the intake, the problem is the LP gas pressure. It must be between 10-13 cfm, and my RV is at 4.xx per the dealer. Working to see what's causing the low LP gas pressure. The water heater and stove work fine.

Tempermental Furnace SOLVED

After much anxiety and patience with my dealer, they finally figured out the cause of my furnace problem. It was the inflow of air that caused the pilot light to go out. When they restricted the air flow while the unit was on the test bench, it ran fine for hours! Now, all they are waiting for is for an OK from Suburban (furnace OEM) to modify the air flow intake similar to what NASCAR does to the race cars. HOW ABOUT THAT! Thanks to all the RV'ers who responded with suggestions based upon similar expriences.

Tempermental Furnace

The heating system in my 2008 Winnebago Vista 32K is not working properly. When the thermostat set and turned to heat and fan on auto, the thermostat clicks , the furnace lights, and the fan runs for approximately 10-12 minutes. Luke warm air comes out of floor vents without very much air flow, and then the system shuts off without reaching the thermostat set temperature. System recycles when manually turning thermostat to off, counting to 10, and turning back on, but then repeats the same cycle without reaching the thermostat set temperature. The air conditioning worked fine during the summer. The selling dealer (Snyder's RV, Virginia Beach, Virginia) has worked on the problem for weeks and tried replacing a circuit board, limit switch, thermostat, control valve at LP gas tank, and blew out LP gas supply line. The unit runs fine on test bench, but has same symptoms when put back into motor home. Dealer has consulted WInnebago and Suburban (furnace manufacturer) with no luck. Latest advice direct to me from Winnebago is to contact Suburban. I'm at my wits end, and the last recommendation from the dealer is to replace the furnace which would cost over $1,000.00. Do you have any better ideas on how to fix the problem? Please advise.

Heating System Problem

Anybody know how to fix the following problem on a 2008 Winnebago Vista 32K ? Heating system not working properly. When thermostat set and turned to heat and fan on auto, the thermostat “clicks”, the furnace lights, and the fan runs for approximately 10-12 minutes. Luke warm air comes out of floor vents without very much air flow, and then the system shuts off without reaching the thermostat set temperature. System recycles when manually turning thermostat to off, counting to 10, and turning back on, but then repeats the same cycle without reaching the thermostat set temperature. Dealer worked on the problem and replaced a circuit board and limit switch, tried new thermostat, replaced control valve at LP gas tank, blew out gas line, unit runs fine on test bench, but has same synptoms when put back into motor home. Heating system continues to shut down before reaching the thermostat set temperature.

CAP FOR HYDRAULIC RESERVOIR

Somehow I have lost the cap to the hydraulic reservoir located inside the engine compartment. I have a 2008 Winnebago Vista with A 6.8L FORD V-10. The fluid reservoir is for the Power Gear PowerLevel system, part number of the system is 140-1226. Does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement cap?
