RE: X-chocks with spread axle

I use Rotochoks for my spread axle TT. Work great and would recommend.

RE: What's Your Overall Length?

60 ft. No problems finding sites or getting into them.

RE: How much more $ would you pay for covered storage?

I gladly pay $169 / month for covered storage. This also includes wash/wax each time it is returned, dump tanks if needed, etc, before they put it away. Very secure, and best part is it is protected from the harmful sun except when in use.

RE: Damage by a storage facility. Who should pay?

My storage facility accidentally bumped the rear corner of mine, damaging the molding. They fixed it to better than new, told me about it, how it happened, and how they fixed it. Very apologetic. The honest company would do the honest thing, regardless of waiver contracts.

RE: What Did You Do For Your Travel Trailer Recently?

I show it kindness every month by paying to store it indoors to protect in from the elements and the thieves.

RE: HD Truck Owners- why did you choose a TT?

Traded our FW for the TT. TT costs less to insure and register. Floor plan was better and we have more storage than FW. Plus now have the truck bed for gear and boat on rack. Also able to easily carry four bikes and other kid things safely inside.

RE: Primetime Lacrosse

We have had ours for two years. No problems at all. Over on Forest River Forums, an executive of the company participates regularly and answers any questions truthfully. Very good build quality and arguably the best customer service. I would highly recommend if a floor plan meets your needs.

RE: Bunkhouse suggestions?

Thanks guys for your suggestions. I like the idea of a bigger grey tank as we seem to fill our current 30Gal grey after a 3 night trip. The fresh I can top off with water jugs, but in the NY state parks they won't let you discharge grey on your site. As for the black, its just me and the Mrs. and our 5 yr old, so alot of black capacity isn't as important to us.The Wilderness looks like a nice unit, but the nearest dealer is 200miles away:( Anybody familiar with Primetime Lacrosse? Many Thanks! Quite familiar with Lacrosse. I would highly recommend a Prime Time product if you find a floorplan that fits your needs. We've had ours for two years without a single problem. Use at least once a month and couple weeks at a time in the summer. Customer support is arguably one of the best.

RE: Organizing in dinette benches

Mostly blankets we only occasionally use. Also extra paper plates, bowls, plastic utensils.

RE: Worst kind of vermin!

Our last fifth wheel was broken into several times at a walled, secure lot. It was believed to be someone that also kept their equipment at the lot so they had the key card to get into the gate. Now we store at an indoor, very secure facility. Only people allowed in are the owners and their one employee, or renters can be escorted to their rig to retrieve something. Best choice we made.

RE: Has anyone found the PERFECT bunkhouse?

For us, ours is what we wanted and fits our needs. We can have a quad bunk, or all four beds fold up out of the way for storage or a play room. Or the one bunk can be a booth dinette. When that table its not being used inside, it can be set up anywhere outside.
