You can download a copy of a PDI, and do it yourself. That way you know where everything is at and how they work. Don't depend on someone else to know how your RV works.

RE: Got bad news today, now depressed!
Our first camping weekend here in Michigan at Algonac S.P. this past weekend was short lived. All set up Friday morning and nice and warm, compared to the cold wind outdoors. Then 2 a.m. Saturday morning, the furnace quit. No re-start, so went home. Luckily only 30 minutes from the house. The little space heater wasn't enough. Even my dogs were shivering.

Sorry for your loss. There really are no words one can convey as to reasons behind it or explanations. I had an ex-wife who committed suicide, had a ex-BIL who committed suicide, and a friend that committed suicide playing russian roulette with a .357.
To this day I still don't have any answers.

In our area of Michigan (north of Detroit) its become a seller's market. An RN we know has bid on and lost 12 houses in the past 3 months to people willing to pay more than asking price. Our realtor says inventory is low on decent homes. We bought our house (foreclosure) exactly 2 years ago for $77,500. We just finished a refi and the appraisal came in at $165,000.

Get some big stick on letters made "$36K Lemmon" and stick them all over it..it might bring some results..take it to rv shows and anywhere else it might get attention in the rv world...it worked with a car that was a lemmon one time...but they hung the little plastic lemmon juce containers that looked like lemmons all over it..
My parents did that with the lemons and a large sign. Drove it from AZ to Michigan. By the time they got to Michigan they had a call to bring it in ASAP. It was repaired correctly.

I have an 08 6.4L diesel, crew cab, long bed as an all purpose vehicle. Its hard to park but can use the exercise when I park it farther out in the shopping lots. Use mine for our 5th wheel also. I also take it out on the freeway at least 3 times per week for about 20 miles to keep the DPF clear and heat up the engine when I go visit my parents. I wouldn't go back to a gas truck.

I called AARP over a Hartford policy complaint a few years ago. They told me Hartford can do what they want. I dropped Hartford and AARP.

What's wrong with a pen at times? We have two little shih tzu's and if we put them on leads/leashes, they get tangled around the picnic tables or our chairs. And we do walk them too.

$1500 is not much to quibble over. So in your case I'd probably go local. We went RVW because their price was almost $15,000 less than the local dealer for our 5er.
We didn't have any problems so we never needed warranty work. But we had a local shop that worked on RVs, had consignment RVs, etc. We contacted our manufacturer and they said they would allow warranty work there if needed, but we never did.

I despise them also. If I have a car or RV to sell, I do it myself. I don't begrudge someone making a profit on something, but not the obscene profits they make on RV's.
When we were looking for our 5th wheel 5 years ago, the local dealer wanted $40,000 for that model/brand. We checked RV wholesalers and their price was almost $15,000 less. Guess who we bought from? They are still making a profit but not what that dealer wanted. When I showed our invoice from RVW, they called RVW thieves. Who's the thief here?

You can't miss that color! I painted mine white 5 years ago, and do the pull test everytime. Even if I think it's pinned correctly, I get out and look to make sure. And have pull tested twice to make sure before I raise the front legs. So far so good.
