most people would dream of being in your situation. sounds like you make have a
"lack" of credit for your purchase. like fla-gypsy said try joining a credit union and getting a loan there.

thanks SARA for the info. So I can bring a "soft sided" cooler into the parks and put it in a locker? how big are the lockers? can we bring bottles of water in the cooler also?

you can add a capaictor to the compressor power supply so when it starts it will not hit the generator so hard, but the answer to your question is YES it will run it. you will be on the limit amp wise but without other loads you can run it. I ran two days on a single honda 2000 when my onan built in generator quit working last laborday weekend.

fla-gypsy, I am from southeast texas, close to Beaumont. we have 200% humidity and 100+ degree weather during the summer also. lol
thanks for all of the tips, and the websites. I was able to print 11x17 color maps of all the parks. also found a listing of the frt wilderness rules. and yes it does list rules for golf cars..
what about the kids fishing at fort wilderness, do they have to have fishing liscense? I have not seen anything on this.. that was my youngest sons first question when the wife and I told them about the trip. lol he loves the outdoors!!!!

I have planned to go to the parks for two days then rest a day, then back for two days, rest a day, back for two days, rest a day, then start back home.. that schedule is flexible of course. we have gone to new braunfels the last three years in a row and did schlitterbaun two days in a row and needed to rest and just relax around the campground for a day before going anywhere else.
yes I plann on returniing to TH for the mid day heat and eating lunch also. then returning for the evening activities.

we are also stopping at henderson beach for a couple of days on the way to WDW.

disney world questions
my family and I are going to disney world for the first time in july, I know its going to be HOT!, and we are staying at fort wilderness in our home away from home. I just wanted to know some tips and pointers for us first timers that will help make our trip enjoyable.
I tried to get an informational packet from them, but they said they dont mail out those packets any longer. also, does anyone know if personal golf carts are permitted?

I have been watching some of the videos on youtube on plasti dipping cars and wheels and thought why not do the front of my trailer during love bug season? it is very inexpensive and can be removed any time by just peeling it off. you can get several colors from most local hardware stores. has anyone tried this for bug prevention?

apparently the outback awning has been discontinued. there has to be another manufacturer out there. 95% of the new toyhaulers have the rear awnings permenantly attached to the back. they are either manual crank out or electric.

after taking the gen apart to diagnose the problem I have found the piston and cylinder to be ok. I believe the problem is the rod end and cap to be worn out causing the piston to bind up in the cylinder. there is no scaring of the cylinder wall or visible damage to piston or cyl. when I broke the rod end cap bolts loose I was able to turn the crank by hand and the piston moved freely. there apparently no type of bearing on the rod end that connects to the crank. I have to check all of this out to be certain. I did not have any metal shavings or any signs damage in the oil either. I will post something when I take measurements and find the problem. thanks for all of the input

onan 4000 microquiet
I am looking for a place to get parts for my onan 4000 microquiet. I need a new piston and rings they need to be oversized. apparently my low oil level switch did not work and it seized up.. I have looked online but cannot find any websites that has engine parts.
