Progresso

Hi. Has anyone been in Progresso Mexico yet? We have enjoyed going to The Rose Garden for 19 years, but all this summer it has been closed. We are going on the 4th of December and just wonder if they have opened back up or have they closed for good. Thank you,Lou

RE: Campground ridiculous prices

I dont mean to offend anyone!! But,I have said for 50 plus years,if the idiots will pay for it,the companies will keep raising their prices. I dont know how far things will go before people will finally say"enough"

RE: Don_Wes flea market, Donna Tx

I heard that the rates went up,enough to make some of the best sellers leave. I know of 2 of them that left, went to New mexico. The rest are raising prices,so might as well go to Waly-world

RE: Passport America Membership? Good, bad, ugly, Others?

We have been members for 8 yrs now, love it. What we save has paid for the membership and gas to get there. We dont go as far as we used to,but we wont be without PPA. Lou

RE: found the trouble with my f150

Bishops,I couldnt get my t.t. to move,,lol, any little hill and the tach would go above 4500 couldnt get it much over 50 mph. So I asked for info here, got some great replies from some great folks,,took it into the shop and it is fixed. Sorry,no pics,,dont know how to do that yet,,had a camera before but lost it and everything else in a tornado just havent taken the time to get another one,one day maybe, but have lots of pics on a disposable camera, lol,

RE: f150 ford

Thank you everyone!! I'm talking to the dealer on Monday,it will take a couple of days to get it in,I'm sure, but I will let you know what happens after they look at it. Once again thank you, you all told me what I needed to hear. Lou

RE: f150 ford

Thats what I thought too, that it should pull better than that. I admit,I started out in over drive, but within 15 miles, turned it off, but it didnt help. Maybe Monday,I should take it to the dealer to see what they have to say? Lou

f150 ford

Hi. I have an '08 Ford f150,5.4L engine,3.55 rear. The book states that I can pull up to 6400 pounds. S0 I bought a 21 ft t.t.,with a weight of 3400 lbs. Just got back from my 1st trip,UGH, could barly get over 50 mph!!The tach ran 3300 almost the entire time and thats on almost flat roads. Cant have more than 400 lbs added to the t.t. Did I mess up? Shouldnt it pull better than that? Not that it really matters, but 2 yrs ago I lost everything in a major tornado, barely got out with my life. I just missed camping,so purchased this set up,very excited to get back on the road some, but I'm afraid of blowing something in the truck. Thank you sso much for any help given, Lou (Louise)

RE: Don't forget Winter Texan Appreciation Days Mexico

With all the people there,we were lucky to find ourselves,,lol. We arrived there at 8:20,got a great parking space and left at 5:30. Maybe next year we could meet and say "HI!" Lou & Larry

RE: Long term stay at reasonable cost

Hi. It depends on what you like, fishing? small towns? friendly? Our park has a pool, club house and clean areas. It is Portobelo in Aransas Pass,Tx. I think the rates are less than 2,400 a year. Close enough to everything and far enough to be "small town". Lou
