The forum is openrangeowners.com. Lots of nice people and great ideas! Hope you enjoy yours as much as we do ours!

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

When I was a kid we had a female shepherd mix that lifted her leg. She was definitely an alpha dog, and let everyone know! We now have a female lab/border collie. While she does not lift her leg, she does "mark" more than any female I've ever had. Much more than our male!

RE: New owner of Open Range LT308BHS

We have the OR in my signature. We have used it extensively both on a seasonal site and traveling this summer. Our only problem is the failure of our power tongue jack, which of course is being replaced under warranty. We are very pleased with our Open Range!

RE: Outback 250rs Rear Slid Condensation Issues

Electric heaters instead of propane will also cut condensation!

RE: Questions about Arctic Fox 30U Storage

They should do a full winterization, pumping the pink stuff thru the entire system. You can buy 2 gallons for under $5, and it takes 15 min. Why would you risk it? Chicago winter was brutal last year!

RE: Open Range 349RLS

We have a 2014 TT, the LT274RLS. We've spent virtually every weekend in it all summer, both in our seasonal site as well as traveling. It has been a dream, with virtually no problems! We highly recommend OR!

RE: Busy Fall Season?

This is also Columbus Day weekend - many folks are off work Monday.

RE: My Boy's Sick ...

Could be from his meds? My Molly was on a low dose of prednizone for a skin allergy - her drinking and peeing was off the charts!

RE: Big changes with a broken heart (Little Update)

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can tell you from experience that the pain will subside over time. I sold my TT and TV for the same reason, and truthfully regretted it. Fortunately several years after my DH's death I met a wonderful man who loves to camp...

RE: Yellow jacket trap

I used traps for years when my kids were little. I'd use the cheapest orange soda I could find for the bait - very effective!!

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

Richard, the surgery for prostate cancer is MUCH improved over the years, with many fewer side affects. My dad had the surgery 15 years ago (he's now 87)and is living a wonderful life. Still drives, travels and has lots of friends to spend time with. I'm confident your doctors can give you the latest information - please listen!

RE: Pain meds not cutting it!!

I wasn't able to lay on my side for probably 6 weeks after surgery. I'd think I was comfortable, but 2 minutes into it the pain was back. My PT explained that it was very common. I ended up sleeping in a recliner a lot - I'm just not a back sleeper!

RE: Open Range 274RLS

We LOVE ours! We haven't tried sleeping extra people, although if we needed to we'd use a tent for the overflow. Island works great - we've fed 6 with that table, pushed up by the couch and 4 chairs. I love the flexibility, and appreciate not having a dinette, which I think waste space for us (2 adults). We put a rattan storage cube between the recliners for a table and additional storage - when traveling it goes on the couch. Good luck with your decision - we'd buy this again in a heartbeat!

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

Good luck Richard and Sue! Hopefully the gov't situation will work itself out - I have certainly heard of these cases falling into place the way we need them to!

RE: how to get info if you are dumb?

When we were looking I joined the various owners' forums of the mfgrs we were interested in. We were able to gleen much info from owners, both the good stuff as well as bad...

RE: should sliders stay in or out???

Ours stay out all summer, although periodically we bring them in and back out to "exercise" them... That was our dealer suggestion, and certainly does no harm.

RE: How much to offer??

It depends on how much you're willing to pay and how much you want this trailer! You've deemed several to be too high, and the RV sector seems to be selling their inventory so they don't have to go so low... Good luck with your decision. If I really wanted to get out this summer, I'd ask myself how much "winning" was worth to me...
