RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

It's 49 and rainy here! March 12th and I had my heated seats and heated steering wheel on this morning on my way to work! This is nuts!

And here in northern Illinois is currently 17 degrees at 11:20AM, with a wind chill of 5. Oh, and 12" or more of snow coming later today... Your weather all sounds delightful!

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

.....drove a 2017 Mustang convertible with the 5.0 engine. It had all the bells and whistles on it and it was a fun car to drive. Maybe when we are done camping and we sell the truck and camper it might just be my last fling car.....I have thought along those same lines. The question is, what would I like to have as a "last fling" vehicle. I think your Mustang is a very good possibility, although I would have to look at a Camaro as well. I am not brand loyal, so whatever floats my boat at the time . . . . :B Well gentlemen, we had a mustang GT - it became too difficult to get out of it as we got older (we're in our 60's). It was like trying to get off the ground when you sat in it for any length of time! It was fun until it became a source of pain, lol!

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

Good morning everyone. Well just keep the snow to yourself, don't want any down here just yet. This is getting bothersome. I worry about Suzie feeling she is getting left out and alienated from me. Maybe Dixie needs to find another home where she is the only dog. This thinking bothers me as I know how much Sue has become attached to Dixie, but Dixie seems to be more attached to me than Sue. I don't know what to do about this situation. Today I will try and spend more time with Suzie and see how I can do this without Dixie being involved. I think you've found the key - you spend one-on-one time with Suzie, which gives Sue time with Dixie. Please don't give up on Dixie yet - she's had lots of changes in her life and hasn't reached the point where she's comfortable she won't be left again - hence she follows you everywhere to be sure you don't disappear.

RE: Salesmen...sheesh

I'm an RV salesperson. I do not sell trailers that are too heavy for my customers' vehicles. Now let me tell you of those customers that insist on towing a 43' destination trailer across country with a 1/2 ton. In one case, he had his friend tow it off our lot, then he hooked his 1/2 ton off and went south. Yes, salespeople shouldn't sell something too heavy. But we as consumers ALL owe it to ourselves to know what we're driving and what we can tow. Every day I have people who walk in here with a 3.7 Ram pickup that they are convinced can tow 10K... It works both way folks!

RE: Can't find leak

I would absolutely check the marker lights - pinhole in the caulk can cause what you're talking about. Also, while the back wall may in fact have a leak, Passports have "hung" back walls, meaning they aren't laminated. Which also means it isn't delaminating.

RE: Shoes for RVing

I hit the soles of my feet with antiperspirant before putting on my sandals. Seems to keep my feet cleaner since they don't get sweaty, and keeps my sandals smelling fresher.
