RE: Best manufacturer warranties?

Whoever now owns Open Range isn't responsible. Last I heard it was Jayco and if I'm wrong and it's not them then I'll apologize in advance. When OR was sold we still had just over 12 months of warranty left but the new owners said they weren't honoring any warranty work. Jayco now owns Open Range, and they both have always included a 2 year warranty. My OR was purchased before the Jayco acquisition, and I had no problems having my warranty honored!

RE: Profiling your Salesman

Keeping the rigs locked isn't always to insure customers talk to salespeople. Some areas have trouble with people doing various acts inside the rigs when nobody is watching. You know it! I work for a large-ish dealership, and oh the stories I can tell!

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

Good morning everyone and Merry Christmas. We wake this morning to a world in turmoil. But thank God we can come to a thread that is a sanctuary that gives shelter and hope to all who come here each day. Here we are a family of love and our hearts are one in the faith that in all of God's creation he made a dog. In that creation he gave this animal a heart of forgiveness and an attitude of each day is a brand new start and no matter what happened yesterday, today will bring hope that all is well and trust is a welcomed part of life. He gave a sweet soul to an unassuming four legged, tail wagging, lip kissing always grateful, animal that is the example of what true love is all about. We who have the privilege of having such a creature in the family know what it is to live in a state of forgiveness, forgiven even before we ask. We know by experience what it is like to be around an ever happy fun seeking, lets go for a ride companion. He will join you no matter where you are and anywhere you want to go without ever asking "Why?" He may ask by expression, "Are we there yet?" And at the end of the day he will lay by your side or at your feet, look up at you with those adoring eyes to say, "Thanks for a great day and I love you very much." With that I am going to close wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. What a beautiful sentiment in such troubled times! Thanks for making my day Richard!

RE: Trail bay 29FKV

I had an '04 Trail Lite which we loved and had no trouble with when we sold it in '11. That said, this brand had a reputation for soft floors (the sandwich floor with styrofoam would compress). Walk thru it VERY carefully checking the floor. Also check the ceiling and walls for water intrusion. Good luck!

RE: Quality with Thor Products vs Loving the Floorplan?

To the OP; Cougar is not a Thor product. Cougar's are made by Keystone. And Keystone is now owned by Thor...

RE: Opinions on Highland Ridge Roamer and Mesa Ridge TT

We have an Open Range Light (in my signature). Coming up on 2 years, and we still love it! In fact, although I work in the business I haven't seen any TT I like better! No problems, and we use ours extensively.

RE: Passport Ultra Lite vs Apex Ultra Lite

Apex, because of the Azdel in the walls. Hands down better than Passport!

RE: 2015 Jayco White Hawk 23MBH

The bed is a 60 x 80 Denver mattress, residential grade. I'm sure out will be great!

RE: Anyone bought TT at wholesale price? If so, where???

These "wholesalers" are no different than any other dealer. They all buy directly from the mfgr, they just imply by their name that they're wholesalers.

RE: Which one would you pick?

I have the front loader in my house - no mold problems whatsoever because I follow the directions and dry it out and leave the door cracked open after use. Clothes get much cleaner, less detergent and water is used, and overall I love it!

RE: Putting the kids on the floor???

We went thru the same decision process years ago. Kids hated how tight the bunks had become, and we decided to go for more living space and no bunks. Kids slept in a tent, on the floor or the jackknife couch. When we wanted to get up we either grabbed our coffee and went outside, or woke the kids and had them move to our bed. Worked well for years. Now we have grandkids and no bunks - we handle it the same way.
