RE: Installing a 30 amp Outlet

First, are you going to buried it? If so put in 1/2 conduit and use 3 #10 THW stranded wire which will be alot easier to handle. Also MHO only use single pole 30 amp GFI. MO2CENTS CharWan

RE: Deleted Forum Posts

You can use the forum search feature to locate posts make during the last twelve months. For older posts use the achieve feature. Can't remember them all to search for. Dick, what about checking if I'm right or if maybe I have my settings wrong?

RE: Deleted Forum Posts

I believe that posts in the "my forum" column will remain in that column until a maximum number is reached then the oldest will be deleted when the next one is added. You can simply cull out the ones you DON'T want to keep and the others should be safe. (unless they've changed the operation recently)
The oldest in My Forum is 09-08 there used to be a second page or a sentence at the bottom saying all posts or something like that. Its not there now. You could keep more than the one page? CharWan

RE: Bull Shoals/White River-Arkansas

Very good CG. I stayed there once but now stay at Battys Resort where he let me make a FHU site. The fishing is great. Esp. if you like trout. Your right beside the river. There is an old town there but can't remember name and then there is Bull S caves. The people are very frendly. Near Mt. Home. MHO CharWan

RE: Shade Tension Spools

Clay, I went and looked at the place up above and I don't see anythin that might work. However I someone has used one of these typs I'm open to try. I wonder if you just ran a line from each side to one of the types you just wrap the cord around would work. Maybe some one that has had this trouble will jump in with an answer . Clay, that was not at the site you suggested but the one above.

RE: Work Horse W-22 Chassis Fuel Leak

Thats the way mine is now. However on the first tank I was on my way back from AK. and when I noticed it it was leaking pretty good. I believe WH told me the first tank was replaced at 17K. so now I have 49K. So my milage matches up with your leak. What will happen is the spot weld will come out and leave a hole about 1/8 big. I was worried that more welds will come loose as the plate flexes more. CharWan

I live here on 53 and on weekends there are hundreds coming by here. They come by all week. It must be a good road for them. We have several great state parks close by. Amicola, Fort Mt. MO2cents

RE: Work Horse W-22 Chassis Fuel Leak

I called WH and they played dumb. No help at all. I just can't figure out how I GOT two tanks with the SAME problem. If I got two there must be a lot more out there. I going to call the WH dealer and see if I can get some help. The thing that worries me is if one of them spot welds comes loose which may make the baffle move more will it break others? Same here I patched mine the first time to get home. Toolslinger how many miles are on your MH? Charles

RE: Work Horse W-22 Chassis Fuel Leak

My 2003 developed a fuel stain that we traced to a spot weld under a mounting strap. The location of the weld suggests it is holding a baffle in the tank to prevent the fuel from moving too fast around the tank while driving. Cleaned it, put epoxy on it, replaced strap and all is well for now.
This is my problem again. The exact spot you mention. They were to have replace my tank but this makes me wonder. Its where a baffle is in the tank. I was on my way back from AK. and I put JB Weld on mine . I think I had it fixed around 13k mile and now have 49k. My concern was if it broke one would it break more because the baffle would be loose. How long has yours been? CharWan

Work Horse W-22 Chassis Fuel Leak

I have a 04 Winnie Adventure on a W-22 WH cassis which has a new fuel leak in the gas tank. I had this same problem when I first got this MH. They were suppose to have replaced the fuel tank. However I have a leak in the exact same spot. Has anyone else had a tank leak? CharWan

RE: How to Test Diesel Fuel Shutdown Solenoid

If I were testing it I would have removed it and then plugged it back up and turned the switch back on and saw what happened. It should be spring loaded to close with no voltage. You just can't go around putting 12 volts on things any more. The voltage should pull it open and when the voltage drops should shut off the fuel. The other red wire may not have anything to do with it opening or closing, may work something else. M2CENTS
