RE: Fresh Water Holding Tank has a Leak

My freshwater tank had a leak. A trailer repair shop recemmnended a company that deals with plastice and said they could plastic weld it. I was able to drop my tank real easy and took it down there and was willing to pay any price to get this problem fixed. They fixed it in about 20 minutes and even welded a plastic reinforcement part to make it stronger. Best part is they charged me $20.00. Took me 10 minutes to reinstall the tank...Best 20 bucks I ever spent..

Rubber Roof

I like to keep my toy hauler looking nice as it sits in my driveway. I wash it a lot and I start by hosing down the roof and then continue washing the rest of the rig. I used to use Spic and Span on the roof but I cant hardly find that anymore so now the roof really doesnt get washed. One time I tried a decor rubber roof conditioner that was a pain in the rear to spray on the entire roof. What else are you doing to maintain the roof so it lasts?

RE: Yamaha YZ Dirtbike Issue with Picture

Update: I just got back from Ocotillo Wells. I put in new $5.00 spark plug and all new gas mixed 50:1 this time. Bike ran great and even sounded different. No smoke like before and went the whole trip with one plug and exhaust looks good. Sounds like a whole different bike.

RE: Boondock cooking tip: simmer is as good as full boil

I never fear running out of propane while boondocking. I have always turned off my hot water heater when not using it out of habbit. I have always done it that way. It doesnt take very long to heat up and usually I flip it on as soon as we get up in morning if we were going to take showers.

RE: GPS

Our group uses Garmin Rino units. We like the additional feature of the GMRS two way radio built in. I am using a ram mount to mount it to different things so I can use in on multiple toys. I have Garmin Rino 120 and they are great! I walked right to my buddy on a hunting trip from over a mile away. Love the way they track each other.

RE: Refinacing my toy hauler???

Nada says its worth high end $15,555. Its still like new condition. My wife thinks we should try to sell it for what we owe and maybe buy a new used toy hauler for a little less money? Just trying to trim some bills around the house. Just bought car insurance for my 16 year old son who got his license last Wednesday....:)

RE: Refinacing my toy hauler???

Refinacing my toy hauler???

I currently have a trailer loan for 7.99 through Santander Consumer. I owe about 19k on my 21 ft toy hauler. My trailer is a 2008. I want to refiance it if its worth it to a lower rate and try to save some money. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions to help me out? I recieved an email from Good Sam for a rate of 4.99. I dont know what the terms are or anything is. Any thoughts or suggestions would really be appriciated. Banking is my weak area..... Thanks
